Mirtazapine and SW

Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone else is in same boat as me. I am on 15mg mirtazapine a day and I have read it comes with massive weight gain I'm currently 12 stone 10 and 5ft5 so in the unhealthy bmi as it is and I don't want to get bigger!!

This the 3rd tablet I've been on (Prozac and citalopram previously) I just want to hear other people stories xx

Hiya!

I changed to mirtazapine a few months ago and have put on around 1.5 stone however I'm convinced it was as I did NOT follow the plan and just ate what I fancied which included a couple choc bars a day and pre packed sarnies.

I've restarted sw this week so will be making sure that when I getthe munchies, I have loads of free food in the fridge ready to grab!

I'm confident that sw will work if I follow the plan evwn though I'm on 45mg of mirtazapine a day

Felt like I ate non stop last week, using my full 15 syns a day as well and lost 4lb last week ( it was my first week) so really pleased!

Next week...back to work and routine so it will be interesting to see what loss I get next week.

I take 30mg a day and I can't comment how it's affected me as I'm only on week 1 of sw but in a week I've lost 11lb and if your hungry snack on a superfree xx

Thank you for replying I'm on 15mg and I joined the gym today but found after a work out are rubbish so going to asda tomorrow to stock on fruit
