Is slimming world ALWAYS on your mind??

Especially newbies. I am at work and cannot concentrate as all I am thinking about is sw. Potential recipes etc. It's driving me a little mad and I have loads of work on too.....eek!

It's best to be obsessed with SW and doing well rather than picking at those biscuits n sweets everyone at work brings in, because their on a diet!! Haha

Haha! Yep, I know how you feel. I'm at work too and yet here I am, browsing the SW forums and thinking about buying veg at the supermarket tonight. Even yesterday I was practically glued to this website, planning my weight loss, writing a food diary and googling syns! I wouldn't say it's a bad thing though, it is making me feel more motivated and I think that once the excitement of the new year has worn off I'll start being a little less obsessed again!

It might be good for the diet but not the work load ! I MUST concentrate !! I have some lovely figures to put together, appraisals to write, meeting to type up and yes I am just thinking of the quorn and cathedral city light I am yet to buy today and anything else that I might need.. God help us!

I'm a bit less obsessed than when I started 3 months ago, but still think about it a lot. I find that this suits my mindset - I like to apply myself fully to one goal at a time and at the moment that is weightloss!

When I'm doing well I do become quite obsessive about it, so don't worry, think it's natural Although I will need to find a way to make it more natural and unconscious if I ever get to target, I can't be this obsessive for life!

Me too, I've been at target almost 4 years now & I'm still thinking of SW foods, what can I eat nxt. OH says that's all I think about food!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it is good to think about it, it means I'm always in control of what I'm eating & aware of what is free food/syned food, otherwise if we stop thinking well, old habits will kick in!!!!!!!!!

Nothing really.. The best thing is sweets but most I can't eat anyway as they have gelatine in! Fruit juice or mars bars are quite good. The closest thing that is free is a banana but carbs take too long to get in the system, it's sugar I need. Luckily it wasn't that bad this morning so a few Weetabix worked ok. Iv really got to keep my diabetes controlled otherwise slimming world is a nightmare! It tends to be more stable when following the plan normally anyway. But it is a challenge !!!!!!!! Xx

    Thank God!
I thought that I was the only person who thinks SW 24/7! I get complaints from the wife, cooking programmes are banned on TV, and I've even started to enjoy shopping at the local supermarket......
