    The best kind of motivation - compliments!

    Today, after 2 weeks holiday I was complimented at work.... on my lovely dress. The odd thing is .... it is not a new dress, it is one they have all seen me wearing before. It's just that it looks better on me now because it is not pulling or tight or showing off VPL or bumps, or back boobs and now falls flatteringly over my tummy.

    I am not disappointed that nobody commented on my weight loss, after all we have only been on holiday for two weeks, so we saw each other not so long ago. I'm just thrilled that, even if they can't quite work out why, my friends and colleagues think I look good.

    I've only really had one outright compliment - in fact I've been a bit disappointed that friends haven't commented to me and that my parents were quite reserved in agreeing that yes, I have lost weight. But when I asked my boyfriend, he said of course he could tell. And when he went to meet with mutual friends recently, apparently two of them had commented separately that I was looking really good - maybe people just aren't sure whether it's polite to say it to my face!
    Originally made it to my target after losing 2.5 stone in nearly ten months on Slimming World. Regained a lot and now looking to get back down, but really struggling as life is complicated sometimes!

    After putting 10lbs back on I'm missing the compliments, great motivation to get them back off!

    I put on 5lb over the last 4 weeks and restarted SW last night, I was dreading it!
    But I was shocked at the number of compliments I've had this last week when I returned to work! People I haven't seen for months have seen the difference losing weight with SW has had on my figure overall and it's really pepped me up!!

    Also my friends at SW have labelled me a clothes horse and look forward to seeing what I'm wearing week on week too apparently!

    A little compliment goes a long way to helping stay motivated!
