Extra Easy SW when ill

Well I feel shocking today, full blown chest and head cold. My appetite is never good during these things and usually I just pick. Had today a cooked breakfast with toast (free and HEX) now just picking on my 3 mini babybel lights and ham. Got a seafood paella coming up later (I'll eat that no matter what -yum) but any one got any tips or motivation for staying to plan when ill?
 
lots of oranges, ginger tea. home made soup with lots of SF veggies that are full of goodness for your body. Plenty of water too.

Be aware that lemsips and soothers etc have syn value. I think healthy comfort food will help and make you feel better but stick on track. The worst thing you could do is feel all woe is me and eat a load of chocolate (it is after all a great excuse too) but it wont make you feel any better and wont do your weightloss any good :)

Ooh I'm glad I saw this thread, I'm dreading the first time I feel ill while on SW. I've always been one to go crazy with chocolate when I'm not well. Thanks for the tips!
 
hot chocolate is your 2 syn friend :)
 
I've had a horrid cough and was slightly appalled that I ought to syn the revolting cough medicine! (That's dedication).

I agree, hot chocolate, soup and stews are good comfort food.
 
I've bought the treat size cadburys chocolates and save my syns until the end of the day so I can have one with tv! I've also discovered sugar free jelly - half a syn for a pot, heaven!
 
I'm ill today ... and it sucks :( My headache has gone .. but I have this hideous cough that really hurts my chest. My throat is fine oddly but my chest feels like barbed wire every time I cough :( :(
 
Maybe try a soothing herbal tea? Maybe a cammomile and honey or something with ginger and lemon? .x.x.
