I started slimming world on 2 nd Jan up to now have just swapped my meals for healthier options but like the idea of getting one of recipe books but which one or ones can you recommend ?

The little book of sauces is good for making healthy swaps, little book of lunches has some good ideas for variety. If you like doing Red or Green, there are books called 50 Free Green Recipes and same for Red. I liked the Extra Easy Entertaining one too for a few posher options.

I've got '100 Green Recipes' and it's great - was only £2.95 at class too - bargain!

'Extra Easy Meals in Minutes' is a brilliant recipe book, with a lot of diversity, so you can never get bored of food :) x

I wouldn't bother with the books TBH. There are always loads of receipes in the mag and there are loads on here to try. Have a look at the receipe sticky.

I absolutely love the Taste of Asia recipe book, it's a favourite in our house!

Cook books are my guilty pleasure love to buy them read them but up to now hardly ever use them but hoping to change that ( another of my many New Years resolutions ) just wondered which of the sw ones to start with

I love the extra easy all in one book. Everything goes in one pot, but there are slow cooking recipies, wok, baking dish etc really good

Yup, I second that. It's a great book. The other one I use a lot is family feasts on a budget because it uses a lot of store cupboard staples so I find if I have not had time to do a special shop for a list of ingredients there is always something in there that I can throw together last minute

thanks for informing me of that! That sounds quite a little treasure of a book, I will have to get it! X

I bought the new Extra Easy Express and it's fantastic... I found with the others there wasn't very much I'd like in them but this one is packed full of favourites. I made the quick beef stew last night (added mushrooms, spinach and broccoli leaving out the cauliflower!) and it was the best stew I've eaten!
