Thread: Any support for someone in month 13? Not "yay it's January, it's just Jan again!"

    Red face Any support for someone in month 13? Not "yay it's January, it's just Jan again!"

    I've been dancing around a weight for 10 weeks, never moving down enough into next stone, but always on it or near it. How do you still find inspiration?

    If you go to a group sometimes sitting in on the new member talk can give you a boost again, maybe remind you of things you may have forgotten. Use some of the tools if they are applicable (food diary/sas log/ for and against) or try a success express week. Alternatively have a sit down and a think (even write down) why this is important to you and why you started SW. Think about how you felt and looked when you joined and then how you look and feel now. Maybe set yourself some mini goals rather than looking at a long term change? maybe an occassion or date you would like to be a certain weight by. Sometimes changing the food you can eat can help give you a boost. If you eat a lot of the same foods and recipes maybe try something new and introduce some different foods into your meals. Make sure you're drinking enough water too. Do you do body magic? That can help you lose weight/ inches (an extra 2 stone a year!)

    What about a doing a food diary and/or a SAS log to try and pinpoint why you are staying around the same weight?

    I know I sometimes become a little complacent and think I'm sticking to my syns and eating my HeX's and I'm not. Or I don't check the syn value because I think I know it but really I've got it mixed it up with something else.

    As for inspirations... I'm motivated by my commitment to lose this weight. I'm doing it for myself, no one else, and I think this alone has made such a difference. I'm making a few changes in other areas of my life too and in all it's making me a lot happier which means I'm more likely to stick to plan without giving it much thought.
