    New starter

    Hi everyone, I joined slimming world last Thursday, it is the first time I have done anything like this I have always just lost weight by counting calories strictly but that is not going to work long term, it never has for me anyway.
    Can anyone share their success ?

    Hey!
    I started sw in June 2013. At 14 stone 4. I have just got my 3 stone award and I am down to 11.3. I have another stone I would like to say goodbye to though.
    I love sw I'm never hungry the only thing I would say is prepare and think about what your going to have the following day. Or plan a shopping list and plan your week.
    I never have a bad week. I stick to plan 100% all the time as I know it works. And it comes second nature to you when you have been doing it a while.

    Wow, well done !! That's brilliant !! I'm the opposite this week I've been hungry but even when I've eaten well but free foods lol quite strange really. I am 12 stone 2 at the moment, I will keep you updated once I've been on Thursday, thank you hope it works !!

    I started at 20st 5lb and Im now 14st 6lb in around 9 months. I still have at least 2 stone to lose which I am hoping to get rid of by my birthday in July. I know it will happen with SW its just a matter of my commitment.

    Its a fab plan with such a wide variety of food to be had and syns to be used that I never really feel like Im missing out. I have also found that my body wont tolerate things like take-aways and loads of chocolate anymore. It just makes me feel ill.

    I am getting ready to run 5k and the great north run this year which I would never have DREAMED of doing before SW. Its given me so much more confidence, I definitely feel like myself again
