Starting out again

Hi I previously tried sw from home but had a lot going on which threw it out the window. So I'm here to try it again, once again from home as I suffer with bad anxiety so going to new places and meeting new people is hard for me. I'm hoping that I can make good friends with on here to help me through the bad times and celebrate the good ones. I've got lots to loose but everyone has to start somewhere. Please don't be shy to say hello I like a good natter. Cheryl xx
 
Hi sugarfairy. You're so right...everyone starts somewhere. Best advice I can give is to use this forum as much as poss as the help, motivation, inspiration and recipes on here is invaluable. That and don't get overwhelmed by an overall target..set yourself mini-targets that are achievable, so you can be encouraged by reaching them and it reinforces the positive message that 'you can do it'. We're all so full of negativity and self doubt and we all need some encouragement to pat ourselves on the back. The best if luck with your journey. .I'm sure you'll do well

Hi Cheryl, well done on deciding to start again. I suffer from anxiety too and go to group. This can be very difficult at times though, especially speaking in front of people, so I can understand why you do it at home. Good luck with your weight loss campaign and hope to see more of you on the boards. x

I've been terrible - was away on holiday and came back and continued my holiday!! Oooops - I'm expecting a gain (a big one at that) tomorrow at class so I'm focusing on getting some motivation from threads to make sure I'm back on track!! I'm annoyed with myself but it's my fault so only I can do something about it!!
