Red day success?

Been following EE since I started 9 months ago but have really plateaued since November. Was thinking that switching to red days only may help me to start losing weight again, as my carb portions would be limited. Has anyone else been in a similar position then had success with this?
 
I'd be interested in following this thread as I want to start introducing red days but need to get my head around it properly first.

I have done all the plans, and personally, I prefer Red as I tend to eat too many mugshots/pasta/potato on EE days.

I also find I plan a whole lot better doing Red days, as you have to work out your 3 meals from the off....otherwise you may have too many healthy extras or not enough!!

My diary is in the gold section, so can not be viewed by new posters - but my typical day on red would be:

B - Fruit or Eggs&Bacon, or alpen lights/Weetabix using my HEB - HEA of milk.
L - Ryvitas, Leftover Red day evening meal (chicken/chilli/bolognaise), soup (synned or free is made from scratch)
D - Lots of yummy meat or fish, SW Chips made from my HEB (230g of potato with skin left on) and veggies (no peas or sweetcorn!) Use my second HEA of cheese on top of my chips - often add bacon too - OMG delish!

I tend to use my syns on sauces/gravies and any spare on snacks! x
 
Oh and sorry - as my stats are reset you cant see I lost 5.5 stone from 2009-2011 for my wedding day! which was mostly done with RED days. I had a baby and I am now losing the 5 stone I gained with that - although 3 stone down so far.......
 
I might try red as I just can't get my head around free potato and pasta having done WW in the past where any carb is a big no no
 
Sw always recommend the first 4 weeks (I think) to do EE so you get used to what a Healthy Extra is and also how you use your syns, so give it 4 weeks on EE and then take it from there xxx

That's fab - cheers for the reply. Have read back through the books about red days and am fully prepped for a red week. Plenty of salads and I think I'm gonna make some of the things I usually make, such as bolognese but serve them veg or 1 jacket instead of the usual big pile of pasta. Will let you know how I get on
