    Stuck on platform

I have been doing SW for 10 months now and lost 3st 12lbs. Since last 3 months I have been stuck on a platform loosing 1/2 lbs or 1 lbs and gaining same. I feel I cant loose anymore now and thats it.

I have under-active thyroid which makes my metabolism slow. I would like to at least get to target but struggling. Help please !!

Do you eat the same sort of things most days/ weeks - sometimes you just need to totally change your food to continue to get good losses. I try and incorporate 1 or 2 new dished from the mags / books etc. each week. Our consultant often says that eating the same things every day/ week can be the cause of a plateau.

Have you tried a 7 speed food / success express challenge. Again these things can give you a really boost when you are finding the loss slow.

The 7 Speed food challenge (as I remember is) is to change 7 foods to speed foods from the food optimising book. So choosing foods with an S symbol over those without (the key bit to change to speed foods, not simply add speed food). Then limit syns to 7 each day, and do this for 7 days to lose upto 7 lbs.

The success express is to change the ratio of superfree to 2/3's, only eat superfree foods between meals, (or things that are free on both green and red days, like fat free yoghurt etc), anything else is syns (you have to find the highest syn value in the food optimising book). When doing this you can also choose to have 1 additional A and B choices. I would suggest reading about this on the SW website to get the full rules for this one. Its defiantly a challenge to eat 2/3 superfree. I never do this for a full week, but I might do it for 2/3 days in a week if I need a boost.

Another thing that always helps me have a good loss is the 12 food speed soup - the recipe should be in the threads but again this always gives me a good week.
