I've found that support networks, such as MiniMins, have been crucial to my past Slimming World success, particularly because I didn't go to group. There are always people looking for 'buddies' to share their weight loss journey with! As with most things in life, it's nice to have someone to share things with.
As far as I know (at least with the UK SW Plan) you get between 5-15 syns a day, and shouldn't fall below a minimum of 5 syns a day.
I have a lot extra time on my hands since moving from the UK to USA, so I usually make proper meals for lunch, but when I'm just not in the mood for cooking, I make jacket potatoes with any filling I can think of, or chop up any veg that might be coming up to the end of it's life and throw it in a pan with some pasta.
