I've been doing slimming world at home as I havnt got the time to go to a class and lost 3 last week (first week) but I'm really not sure if I'm doing it right!! For example today I've had:

Breakfast sachet of Quaker oats original made with milk from hea
Snack 2 plums
Lunch 1 Asda wholemeal pitta (7syns) filled with peppers ham toms basil, 1 spicy and sour cup shotz radishes

I'm finished a litre of water and have a litre to go but feel sooooooo uncomfortable and stuffed.

Any advice/hints and tips gratefully received!!

Xx

The sachets of porridge don't count as a healthy extra I'm afraid but apart from that it looks fine to me?

I am also new to Slimming world :) Do you have the books? I do, make sure you use normal oats out of a large packet, even if you have to weigh the 35g its worth it! :) Hope this helps x

I think if doing it from home you still need to have the most recent books or join online xx.

Or browse on here great sub forums for health extras and syns xx

I've just started using the sachets of porridge again and was counting as a B. Is it because you can now have 35g of oats and the scahets are only 27g?

Thanks guys. I went over on my syns yesterday then - dash - not a good start!!

I did want to join a class but it bores me daft listening to how everyone else is doing.

Probably worth going just to have the welcome talk and get the up to date books. You don't have to go back if you don't want to.

I count my sachets as a B choice too. Is that wrong?

I would agree with this, it's worth getting all the books you think you will need and having access to SW online for a short while to check the up to date syns online and healthy extras etc. You could go along for a few weeks and just get weighed if you wanted. You don't have to stay, they don't tie you to the chair :). I wouldn't eat the sachets myself but I don't go to group anymore to be 100% on an answer for you, also I am quite happy to cook porridge from scratch as it's no effort and you get a bit extra!!
