Introducing myself...will be here for a while after all!
Thought I would say hi to everyone on here, spent most of the day reading through posts, got some really helpful ideas.
I've done slimming world twice in the past, lost about 11lbs each time, stopped both times as it just wasn't working for me, though realistically it was that I wasn't following the plan! I moved to doing the 5:2 diet for a bit, but although I liked the idea, it was difficult to follow, and I kept meaning to fast the next day...
Anyway, over the last few months a soft tissue injury in my leg has got significantly worse, stopping me walking 4 miles to and from work each day, and then had to work in London for 2 months. Living off take aways and an expense account took its toll, and I am now the heaviest I have ever been. My clothes don't fit, and I know the weight is not helping my leg.
I can't get to a group, so apologise in advance if I occasionally ask for syns, I will try not to.
