    T.o.m and over eating :(

    I feel awful today. Time of month , face full of spots and I ate a stupid amount of chocolate last night last few days I have gone well over syns and I knew I was doing it I have my birthday dinner coming up and wanted to get in to a certain pair of trousers for it but that's not going to happen now as only have 10 days sorry to sound so self pitying , it's my hormones ! Blurgh. I will be back on plan 110% tomorrow , have to try to repair this damage

    Did you count yesterdays syns, can you pull it back for next WI.

    I see you'll be back on plan tomorrow, why not today?

    Have a look on here & gather some inspiration & motivation to keep you going, also look for treats to have when you feel the need for sweet stuff

    We all go through or have been through these sort of times. I myself ( apart from yesterday) have been going well over my daily syns and as much as I tried to I just couldn't seem to stick to the plan. This wouldn't be to bad, but I'm going on holiday on Tuesday!!!!! I tried on a new dress that I brought it has given me the boost that I need. I did have a syn free day yesterday, but will be sticking to 5 a day until I go. If you feel yourself going off plan, maybe go and look/ try on your trousers or imagine how great you would feel if you stuck to it. Try not to stress too much tho. If its your time of month then you will be bloated anyway, but it will go down by your birthday meal. Good luck! Let us know how you get on today.

    Aww I feel for you! I get carb craving the week before and just feel hungry all the time. My actual TOTM week is just blissful relief lol

    Just try and take it easy and try not to be too hard on yourself. Auntie Flow isn't very helpful to us girls losing weight so personally I try and work with my cravings then struggle through, even if it means I go over my syns. It's better to be in control.

    It's the lack of control isn't it well I am on plan today , so am back in control. I am gonna really work hard this week , will up my excersize and water in take and I will get those trousers on!!! Thanks gals , the self pitying has passed and I will undo this damage

    Hi,

    I get the same cravings a week before a period. I just cannot feel full at all and constantly hungry. It's always a bad week for me as I am trying so hard to not eat, but I feel like I have to because I am constantly hungry. The rest of the time I'm fine, it's just those few days beforehand.

    I always let myself have a treat or two during those days and then back to plan.

    My T.O.M is all over the place since starting SW 6weeks ago..it playing havoc with my skin, feeling so sluggish too..
    As for my what it does to my eating plan, forget it. I'm way to tired and just want everything!

    I know how you feel, it's my totm and I'm off work due to Easter hols so it's a recipe for disaster, today I just wanted to eat everything in sight. I've tried my hardest not to give in and probably drank 10 cups of tea but then had the urge to eat something sweet with every cuppa.

    I could have written this, because for me it is exactly the same. Reading this thread helps me realise that we are not alone in this, which makes me feel better about myself, because it tells me I am not being weak or pathetic when I give in to the cravings, I am just being normal.

    Hope you continued the urge to resist something sweet with your tea..
    Maybe try some fruit tea's, they can be sweet and also can help with weight lose, period cramps etc..
