    Question Newbie help please

    Hi All

    I'm new to Slimming World, I'm an online member been at it for 3 weeks now and have lost 7.5lb

    What I am trying to figure out is how to get the most from the online Food Diary, which I find perplexing! Is there a way of adding a fraction of something when logging syns? For instance I quite often cook for me and the other half and use say a whole teaspoon of olive oil in a recipe for 2 or 3 people so want to log the portion of oil that I consume but I can't figure how!

    I previously did WW which was much easier to use online, I'm finding SW's website somewhat frustrating

    Hi I joined S/W online last Monday. Still getting to grips but also noticed you cant change the portion size. Ive just added it manualy. So looked up the syns and divided it by however many the meal was for.

    Yes - just use the manual syn drop down and enter the amount like that. (You can save these to your favourites too, so if you use say 1 tblsp of oil between two people in a lot of recipes you can save your portion so you can enter it more easily next time).
    Wks 1-4 -21lbs Wks 5-8 -8.5 lbs Wks 9-12 -10 lbs Wks 13-16 -5 lbs Wks 17-20 : -6.5 lbs Wks 21-24 -3.5 lbs (1 week holiday, oops!)
    Wk 25 : -3.5 lbs
    Wk 26 : - 4 lbs

    It frustrates me too. I look up the syns, adjust for portion size, and add it manually to the food diary.

    I think most of the online SWers would agree the website and app are shockingly bad! Once you get your head round it, you do get used to it. And of course, there's always the lovely people on here who have been really helpful to me since I started

    I did WW online 4 years ago. Was slightly dissapointed with the SW site but like you said once you get your head around it you get used to it. Ive just started looking at minimins again and everyone is so friendly and helpful

    So it's a pound of this week, which I know is good but I was hoping for a bit more, feel a little bit flat this morning
