The worst after binge guilt ever!

Oh gaaahd I drank a lot of vodka soda last night and then had a 'gutbuster' fry up at 3 in the morning on the way home. I'm pretty sure there was fried bread involved. And a lot of high syn sausages... and a burger! I feel AWFUL today (and it's not the hangover! ) and have been snacking on bloody chocolate all morning. How do you forgive yourself afterwards?! I did a VLCD for about 6 months and previously struggled with bulimia, I'm loving SW and I'm I'm my third week at the moment - probably why I feel so bad I can't believe I fell off the wagon so hard.

Rant over! Hah I feel better already just writing it down!

First step hun is to stop feeling guilty. SW is not about feeling guilt every time we have something naughty. We all do it from time to time - we're human! Best thing to do now is draw a line, forget about it and move on xx

Yes just put a line under it and get back to plan asap. Thats the best thing about SW. Its not a quick fix, its a lesson in how to eat properly and also SW knows that people are human and will sometimes treat themselves

Agree with all the other posters- enjoy the treat that you had (dont feel guilty - I'm sure you enjoyed it at the time!) and draw a line under it.

At least you made a SW choice with the vodka and sodas instead of beers or full fat lemonade!

I too have had a terrible few days! I had a funeral, birthday meal and then a birthday BBQ - SW went right out of the window!

But today, I've woken up, weighed myself (2lbs on) and am ready to get cracking again!

    Hi,
I too struggled with bulimia after going on WW, in the last three weeks on SW I've put on 3lbs I've taken this week as holiday to try and get myself motivated and back on track but every time I eat something I do get the guilt feeling and it's awful.
I would say we have come a long way to beat bulimia and falling off the wagon all be it a lot is not the be all and end all.
Also you haven't been weighed this week so it may not be as bad as you think, be positive and worse case scenario it won't be as worse as my gain x

You're so right there, willpower can be SO hard to find sometimes but the wagon isn't the be and end all *nods*. I'm so glad I stopped lurking and posted because I think i'd have eaten the entire contents of my fridge without your replies! Don't worry minniemouse, 3lb will come off so fast when your body has adjusted, I put on in my first 2 weeks of SW just because I hadn't actually eaten a proper meal for so long.
    Xxxx
