Support on here will be helpful I reckon so tell you all my tale

I lost 10 stone with slimming world (Green n Red plan) went from 22 stone 3 to 12 stone 3 ,2011 man of year semi finalist at head office n everything

Now at 12 st 3 i was too skinny for my build and people started to worry about my health at completly other end of scale

So i raised my target started adding a few naughty things in happy at 14stone n going to gym get in a relationship happy as larry although gained a bit more weight ,relationship falls apart im back in bad habits somewhat & now found myself after a very greedy christmas n last few months back in the 18's

wardrobe full of nice new n expensive clothes that dont fit anymore

Still i've realised gotta get a handle on things rejoined SW last night and gonna smash it back down n get somewhere i feel healthy & still me

Anyway sorry to waffle on just had to tell some ppl who understand

Well done for getting back on it! I know only too well how you feel because in 1996, I was in the Rosemary Conley magazine as one of their success stories, having gone from 16st 12lb down to 10st 2lb. My story and pictures were also in a couple of Sunday paper supplements and I was so proud of my achievements. Fast forward to 2000 and I was tipping the scales at just over 20 stone. Unfortunately, unlike you I didn't do something about it but faffed about joining and rejoining WW/SW etc and not getting anywhere apart from losing a couple of stone over the next 11 years. It wasn't until August 2011 that I decided enough was enough and finally did something about it. You should be proud that you have taken this step and haven't regained all of the weight!

Thanks,Am pleased its only 3stone 10 to lose this time & as weight starts to go down will be able to get into my nice clothes again

Lol I sound worse than you ladies ,,,Ha Ha

Well, at least you know that you CAN do it!! Done it before - you can do it again. And not anything like the long slog last time - in fact just a drop in the ocean this time!

I'm certain that some people can gain weight with gay abandon while others who may eat pretty much the same diet don't. My son eats about 4 times as much as I do - and a lot of it not what you'd class as healthy either - he's like a rasher of bacon, I'm like a beached whale. It ain't fair but then not much is!

Good luck

Hiya, I think most of us have been there at some point!

I'm starting back again today after losing and then gaining back all my post pregnancy weight:cry:

Hey, around same weight loss as me. I keep saying to myself well it could be worse it could be tens of stones to lose, but almost 4 stone does sound mind-boggling at the start. Here's to some good losses in the coming weeks :)

I completely understand, putting back on some of the weight is a horrible thing. I went from 19st 9 down to 14 stone a couple years ago.. I was over the moon and almost at 6 stone loss. Then went off track a bit, stopped going, got into a relationship and gained, broke up and gained..and continued until the point I find myself now having put back on 4 stone. I felt so down at first undoing all that hard work but bit the bullet and rejoined again...If we did it once, we can do it again hey? :)
Good luck, I'm sure you will kill it!
