I'm bloated and really hungry I'll be going back to calorie counting if it doesn't improve as didn't feel like this !

I'm surprised you're hungry 'cause you really can fill up to the nines - I never go hungry. What are you eating?

Eat more then. There is plenty you can have. Cooked breakfast? Egg on toast? Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon?

Hi I am eating more pasta but I have lots of speed food with it I also drinks lots of water ( sparkling ) I've been exercising since I started so really shouldn't make a difference . It's in the mornings when I wake up I'm really hungry strange :/

I have never felt hungry on Slimming World but I always stick to the Green and Red days. On those, you can eat as much as you want of the free food and fill up with cottage cheese, fruit, yoghurt. If you give me an idea of a day's intake I can maybe help.

What's strange about waking up hungry? You've gone probably 10+ hours since you last ate. It's OK to feel hungry before a meal - that's what supposed to happen :) A big SW breakfast will give your metabolism a boost and help you get started.

If you do feel hungry between meal times there is so much you can eat on SW. Have you checked out the recipe threads and other peoples' diaires?

The bloating you mentioned in the first post might be a side effect of increasing your fruit and vegetable intake? They're well know for causing gas - but it does settle down!

No wonder you're hungry - I would be eating that! How about keeping some free/superfree snacks in the fridge like boiled eggs, chicken drumsticks, vegetable sticks, SW quiche, pakoras etc? Have you thought about getting some free tins of stuff too - unsure what meaty ones are free but for example I buy Tesco chickpea dhal which is free on green and soooo filling with brown rice and some veg of some kind :) Definitely need to be eating more though :)

Thanks i_am_plankton didn't really think I'm not eating enough ! Will definitely try and eat more starting today !

Soups packed with superfree are really cheap and good too - I often make a french onion one with loads of onions, veg stock, balsamic vinegar and herbs and also SW Heinz-style tomato soup: 2 tins each of chopped tomatoes, tinned sliced carrots, baked beans, about a litre of veg stock and a pickled onion - super cheap and sooo yummy!

Ooh I didn't realise the Tesco one was free- I must go and buy some!

Why so much pasta? It looks like you had it for lunch and dinner on Thursday and then again for lunch on Friday. I think I would feel bloated too eating so much pasta!! lol Just because its a free food doesn't mean that's all you can eat, there are so many other options on SW.

Give us an idea of what you were eating whilst Calorie counting.
If calorie counting was working, why did you swap to SW?
Id stay stick with what works :)

I made quite a bit of pasta and wanted to use it up . I thought I'd try SW for a week for a bit of a change plus people seem to be loosing well on it a d got a bit fed up counting everything I ate as that's not the case with SW . I've decided to stick with it for one week cut down on pasta and see what happens . While CC I did eat many carbs and not much fruit as some fruit is quite high in calories . I agree with if it's working then stick with it which is what I may be doing see how this week goes .

Why not give red days a try.....that way you will be naturally cutting down on carbs if you find that works better for you.

I think a lot of people find measuring out their pasta helps them not to cook too much so they then feel like they must eat it. I usually find a couple of very large handfuls and sometimes one for luck is about the right sized portion for me!
Yeah think ill give that a go that's for advice having chicken and veg for my evening meal
