Tracking your weight loss

Hi all i was wondering if anyone else tracks their weight loss as much as I do ? I feel I need to to keep me on 'track' I'm quite good I'm not easily swayed and very determined to be on this slimming world journey I've currently lost 2st 10lb since January I got myself a plaque of lbs lost this week, lbs so far and lbs to go but that wasn't enough I write my weekly weigh in on Facebook, and I have a weight loss app on my phone I also update the website and just recently because my weight loss has slowed down dramatically I have a little book that I write my weekly menu and the loss I got that week. Am I alone ? Xxx

Hi there.
No you're not on your own...I do too. I keep a tally on the lock screen/ wallpaper of my phone so I can see it all the time (stars "filled in" for every half pound I've lost so far (146 to date) and "empty" for those I've got to lose to get to next mini-target).

I need something visual to remind myself how far I've come and I entirely understand your need to record it. The way I see it, we're achieving something remarkable...if you climbed a mountain or run a marathon wouldn't you want something to remind you of that journey?! I think if I don't keep these reminders it'd be too easy for me to let it all slide and I'm determined not to x
 
I do this too :)
I have a book where week by week i write it down, also ive kept a food diary with my weeks loss at the end too. I use an app on my phone that has targets and keeps record of my weight loss. I also always report readings to my hubby and mum lol :)
 
Ah I'm glad it's not just me I tell everyone when I get the chance it's huge for me after trying so many other 'diets' , ' lifestyle changes' and none working this one is for me well done on your weight loss you must be beaming :)
 
If I let myself I would definitely get this obsessed! I have a weight record I use which I downloaded off here! it's an excel document and it's sooo clever! it works out averages! percentages etc!! :) I also update the SW website, and have I dairy on here. Also I have a little glass jar, and I put a button in for each half pound I lose :)!love seeing it fill up :)
 
I don't but I would love to have a pebble jar x 2. I weigh in on the SW website and bought myself off Ebay a little plaque that has a blackboard on it with text to say how many lbs lost this week, in total and how many to go :)

Some of them look really nice! I been thinkin bout gettin one for a while. But im maybe already to obsessed lol

I got mine from ebay some people sell them on Facebook but they too expensive I searched weight loss plaque on ebay loads came up x
 
If that works for you, keeps you motivated and spurs you on then great! Sometimes it's good to see it in black and white and remind yourself of the goals you are striving for.
