    Talking Started Today!

    Hi

    Joined last night so this is my first day!! Feeling pretty happy and confident at the moment. Had a MASSIVE bowl of salad with a tin of tuna and some fat free dressing for lunch - i'm stuffed. lol Thought i'd better try to do it properly so my salad was falling off the plate!

    Did SW a while ago and couldn't get to grips with EE... i think it was a throwback to the Red and Green days. So haven't even looked at the booklet for Red and Green. Its all the way with Extra Easy from now on!

    Well done and good luck. I (re)joined at lunchtime today so tomorrow will be my first day on plan. I've been a WW'er for a few years but have fallen off the wagon since Christmas and WW classes are diminishing in the area with none that suit me so thought I would give SW another go.

    Hello all,
    I joined SW today after doing Dukan on and off for months with some success but then have put most of the weight back on as it is such a hard plan to follow for someone like me who loves pasta and rice. Will be starting tomorrow morning with bacon and scrambled eggs. Used to do SW years ago after having my son (now 10) lost a stone and a half but then gave up as I found the restrictions of green and red too tricky when cooking for the family so the EE plan should be so easy for someone like me who likes to cook from scratch. I found these forums really helpful when doing Dukan and hope that it will be the same on SW. I have 5 stone to lose so here goes!

    Good luck!! I've done Cambridge and started LL 5:2, bought loads of stuff from Slim and Save... and then went and joined SW on Tuesday. Go figure.

    Good luck with EE! Slimming world is so great because it is really flexible, and I've found I can adapt meals for others members of the family without having to segregate my food or cook several different meals.

    Sounds like your doing great. EE is a great plan I've just done it right from the start I did have a look at the other plans but my head was so full with EE I just thought no il make a mistake so Im sticking with EE for the moment.

    Hiya, I rejoined SW on Tuesday too. Previously I managed to get nearly 4 stone off and felt fabulous. However, mentally I went to pot (for various boring reasons) and unfortunately so did the diet. I put on that 4 stone and more, so am really determined to crack it now. I too am on EE as that worked for me last time.

    Well, first day and I've eaten loads!
    Had bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast, tinned spaghetti on toast (just love that!) for lunch and gammon, SW chips and a salad for evening meal followed by a delicious fruit salad topped with Muller light yoghurt. Oh, and three mini babybel lights. Can't believe how much food I've been able to eat without feeling sick or guilty. Previously on Dukan, I wasn't allowed any carbs and had to eat so much protein it would make me feel sick. This is so much more healthy, just hope it works!

    That's the best thing about slimming world, you can eat as much as you want and when you want no matter what time of day!
