Do you go to group? Your consultant will be able to help you and of course the support from everyone else. I hit a stuck point (6.5lbs from target) and have had some different suggestions from my consultant, I weigh in tonight so hoping it will get things moving again in the right direction :)

Yes I go to group which is monday... I just need my motivation back to try and help me to lose at least a lb before then... I have messaged my consultant ans still await her reply

Hi Snoopichick. I have been on SW for 8 months and lost 3 stone. I am very close to my target too and a few weeks ago I too lost all momentum and motivation and started eating a lot of junk, out of control snacking and simply not caring about syn count. I would simply ignore syn value in anything I felt like eating and cram it into my mouth and then try to forget about it as if it hadn't happened. When I wanted to eat the next piece of fattening junk I would tell myself that I could because I hadn't had any syns for the day yet because I was ignoring the fact that I HAD.

I realised that I was messing up all the months of good eating and dropping dress sizes for a very short term pleasure that, to be honest, was making me feel icky and nauseous. I needed to get it under control so I started from scratch. I put myself in the position of a complete newbie to SW and went back to all the books I was given in my first meeting, then I started a very strict diary. EVERYTHING that went past my lips was written down. The thing that helped me turn it around was the diary. Do you keep a diary? Perhaps this could help. Also, give yourself some quiet time and reread all your books from page 1.

Good luck hun. It is frustrating when you feel this way. I really hope you can turn it around. You have done so well and we are all here to support you. XX

Aww thank u so much and I have been doing the same it weren't registering that I had been synning all day yet still put rubbish in my mouth in the evening while watching TV. .
I was going to the gym regular too but with colitis and my flare up I have been advised from my hospital consultant to take a rest so that don't help as I get bored when the kids are in bed...
I have 13 wks and 1 day to my wedding day I wud love to lost another stone but where my head is at its not gonna happen...

Are there any activities or jobs you could save for when the kids are in bed to try and help ease the boredom?

The best thing to do is go completely back to the start. It's easy when you get close to target to get complacent and start slipping back into old habits. I've also been guilty of having a bit of a freak out when I got to my goal weight with WW. I felt like for all I was thinner, nothing else had changed and looking back now I realise I missed my security blanket of food and being over weight.

When the kids are in bed write yourself a list of all the reasons why you joined SW in the first place and what you wanted to achieve by losing weight. This will help remind you what's at stake. Also start talking positively about yourself, if you say you won't get a stone off before you're wedding you won't , but if you say you will you stand a much better chance!

Also planning a wedding is a pretty stressful time! Make sure you make some time for yourself!

I totally agree. Go back to basics. Write a food diary. Plan some meals. Get a copy of the mag for some inspiration. Maybe invest in a recipe book and try some new dishes. Complacency and boredom are both really dangerous. You are getting married soon and will no doubt look stunning but do you want to be thinking you could have done more or do you want to be totally happy with your appearance knowing you gave it your all?

Thank u for ur support I've spent the morning with all my books and mags and done a 14 day menu plan and done an online shop... I've also printed a pic of the old me and the new me and placed one on my fridge and my food cupboard..
Over the next few days in the evening im going to bulk cook while the girls are in bed..
I will get this stone off for my wedding day to feel and look good for my soul mate and to be around for my girls for longer
Thank u so much ur support has helped me
