Just wanted to say hello as I've just joined the forum and will be adopting the Slimming World way of life.

I'm going to be doing it myself at home but may venture to a group if I really struggle. I'm really not a group kind of person and money is a tad tight at the moment, rather like my pants ;)

Off to browse all the hints and tips and stock up on inspiration with the success stories x

I see you have already managed to lose nearly 1 1/2stone which is brilliant.. Well done! . :happy096:

Hi I'm new too. I went to class last year and lost nearly 3 stone but am ashamed to say have put 2 stone back on. I really struggled to get back on it after Christmas but have now got my head round it and thought I'd try this site for some moral support. Good luck.
 
Thank you so much for the welcome it's very encouraging to know that you're not alone. It hurt to write the numbers down but doing it really made me wake up to my situation.

Will definitely start my own diary and catch up with all the inspiring stories.

Welcome on board. I'm doing SW from home as well but definitely never feel I'm going it alone with all the support on here.

Thank you so much for the lovely welcome, it really makes a difference :)

I'm having a few days of healthy eating and getting my head around the plan and starting properly on Monday. Realised that I really need to sit down and work out a proper meal plan so doing it kind of SW style until then.

Struggling to get my head around how much food I can eat as it is way more than I expected x
 
Often the way Bessie.. stopping eating lots of junk food doesn't mean you have to go into starvation mode nor eating lots of rabbit food either!
Stick with it.. it does take a week or so to get things into your head but then it will soon get so you won't have to spend so much time trying to fathom it all out.. although to be honest.. I never managed to get my head round the SW diet but there's plenty of followers of it on here anyway... and then again it's the same with any diet regime isn't it?
If you intend to start on Monday now's a good time to start narrowing down the intake of the junk food maybe.

A good idea to reduce the bad stuff, Emmaline.

I think that planning my meals for the next week or so is the way to go. I love that I don't have eat anything different from the rest of my family x
