Insomnia and weight loss

Yes! I don't suffer insomnia but I do have a baby who hasn't slept for a year. I find when he has been sleeping well I manage to stay in track a lot easier but when I'm exhausted I find it so much harder. I think for me it's more to do with the food I eat to 'beat' tiredness, and not doing exercise. I have read before that a good nights sleep is essential to losing weight....

The nights that I don't sleep well, I tend to get up very early (5am today), so I end up eating a lot more... I've already had a breakfast, and will need a second one soon!
