So I've made the leap and decided it's time to get serious about this weight-loss malarkey. Re-joining Slimming World this week after putting on way too much weight during last 4 years at Uni. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Load up on fresh veg and fruit. Lean meat (if you are nit a vegetarian) and water. Water. Water. Also, find a mind consuming hobby that does not involve food. That helps me. Hope this helps xx

I struggle to drink much water but if you can it does help. Lots of fresh fruit and veg with every meal...bulk it put so you dont want to snack...and good luck

Definitely lots of fruit and veg! Experiment with different things so you don't get bored, plan your meals and keep it simple. Also, use your syns. I normally use all mine as I hate to feel deprived of anything :)

Thanks so much, and that makes good sense :). Trying to make sure I have plenty of the right kinds of food in house. Giving in to takeaways is always my downfall. Aiming to use 6 - 8 syns for meal and snack allowance, saving a few for chocolate or wine if I need it.
