    Panicking now

    Hi. It's my first week and I've resisted climbing on any scales up till today when I went on my mum's scales.
    They read exactly the same as they did a week ago, which is very disheartening.
    Particularly as I've followed the plans carefully.
    If it were different scales I could understand there being a difference (or rather no difference) but it's the same scales!
    I feel like I've lost a bit if weight around my jowls and arms, my mum agreed, but these scales....

    Any reassuring words would be greatly appreciated!
    1st week 6lb loss,
    2nd week 2lb loss,
    3rd week 7lb loss,
    4th week 1lb gain,
    5th week 2 1/2lb loss
    6th week 1/2lb loss
    7th week 1 1/2lb loss
    Next week, who knows?

    My first week I only lost 0.5lb. It was disheartening, but I stuck at it and I have now lost 12.5lbs. Sometimes it can take your body a while to adjust to a new way of eating, and once it does the weight will start to fall off. I am the least patient person in the world, and it has taken me a while to get used to the speed that I lose weight. But it will happen for you, trust in the plan, as it does work

    Make sure you get your 1/3 Superfree for your meals, and don't let yourself get too hungry either. Have you been keeping a food diary at all?

    Are you going to a group? If so those are the only scales you should take any notice of.

    Yes I'm at a group and I get weighed there tomorrow night. I haven't dome SW for years and last time I did it I lost loads the first week.
    Think I'm just having a bit of a wobbly. Thanks for your encouragement.

    Ive been very careful so I just hope I've lost something x

    Hi Hun, I often have wobbles and they were often weigh at home induced wobbles too. I think all other scales other than scales at weigh in should be ignored Hun. I swear I am giving mine away before I return to SW this time as they caused me no end of grief. Just weighing on a different time of day/ different clothes/ drank/eaten different amount pre weighing throws the results right off.

    get weighed tomorrow Hun, wear similar clothes to last weigh in and good luck, thinking of u x

    Try not to panic chick, weight fluctuates daily. I weighed last week after a holiday on my home scales the night before weigh-in night as I knew they were 4lbs different to the scales at group and they said a gain of 4lbs but the day after at group I had lost 2lbs so a 6lb difference in a day! I even weighed again at home after just to be sure and they said a loss too. I just stick to the group scales now lol. Good luck for tonight xx Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

    Fingers crossed for you.....its my first week and must admit I feel massive but have stuck to the plan but have avoided scales as didnt want to get disheartened and then pig out! My WI is tomorrow night and feel sick at the thought of it already....just cant get my head around eating ALL this food and still loose weight.

    I lost six pounds, I'm very pleased!!!
    Had a migraine on and off since Saturday so I'm really pleased.
