Hey guys I just joined slimming world last week just wondered if there was anyone in the same boat I plan to do the ee plan but still trying to get my head around everything I lost 3lbs in the last week I think it's been a fluke really while trying to adjust to it xxxx

I started exactly a week ago too, so far so good, lost 5 and a half pounds on my first weigh in!

Hi. I joined my local group lastnight. Came over from the dark side (ww) so far I love the look of the plan and i already feel like ive eaten way more than usual and I'm happily forfilled instead of constantly hungry.
Good luck on your week, how are you finding it all so far? Any tips?

I totally agree, the recipes are so good and the best part you don't have to starve yourself x
 
It almost feels wrong to me how much I ate yesterday, hope I lose on Tuesday!

Hi Im in my first week, weigh in tomorrow, Im following the plan on line doing EE.

Feels like I eat way to much though lol......suppose we will see tomorrow how I'm doing.

Good luck, I had my first weigh in last Tuesday and I went really well and I ate a lot of the good stuff on EE but also some naughty bits and used up my syns most of the days...still managed to lose 5 pounds! xx
 
I'm new too, going it alone at the moment but might join a club when I move house soon. Good luck :)
 
Hi, I'm in my first week too. I joined on Thursday. Tho had a massive 10 course meal on Friday night with wine pairing at The French with friends for my birthday :/ but that has been booked since April.

I'm currently sat here trying to plan meals for the week, trying to get my head around it before we go shopping and stock up. I've started with two recipes that are free on EE and some free soups for lunches. Will probably concentrate on syns a bit later or kind of as I go as I found everything a bit daunting at first.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna gain on my first week just to the meal on Friday but I'm prepared for it as you have to be realistic and my birthday week was why I went as I need to change my ways before my weight gets out of hand.

Good luck and happy birthday!! I am on my second week now and even though i lost lots on my first week and i am now worried this week wont lose anything! Xx
 
I'll let you know, I'm trying to ramp up my fitness too so taking extra steps literally!

I was wondering if anyone who has weighed in already weighed of an evening? I always weigh more in the evening so I am really worried I won't get a good loss, also should I wait to eat until after? And just have something light in the day? Any advice would be great.

Whether you weigh in, in the morning or evening, providing you stick to plan and consistently weigh at that time each week (i.e. at class and on their scales) that's when you need to take your fabulous losses from! It's really easy to jump on and off our own scales each week (I know, I do!) but if you're going to class go with what their scales say - you'll be fine and good luck on your first WI xx

I got on my home scales yesterday and it was higher than when I weighed in for the first time last Thursday. I'm hoping it's just a blip in calibration :/

I've found that I'm certainly eating a lot healthier and factoring in my syns so I don't feel like I'm missing out. I also feel like I'm eating more, my husband always said I don't always eat enough and then when I do I'm starving so I just grab whatever is the most convenient. He doesn't see how it will help me lose weight so hoping to prove him wrong.

I do love cooking but I've really enjoyed being super prepared and cooking each and every meal we've eaten. The recipes I'm finding online are so far all a hit.

After my chicken tandoori kebab last night I'm now looking forward to Thursdays cheeseburger quiche the most!
 
I lost 8lb when I weighed in tonight! I can't believe it. I got a certificate and sticker for 1/2 stone. I'm so speechless.

Well done Clarey, that's an amazing first week loss !! I'm here trying to plan my meals for the week. I'm joining a class on Thursday and just want to be super prepared :)
