Hi I've just started slimming world, my first weigh in is tonight - eek!
Hoping to lose about 3 stone in total. Has anybody got any tips for the plan? I've been cooking lots of sw recipes so hopefully it will show on the scales this week! :)

Hi Tigz

Best of luck for your first weigh in tonight.

I`m new to SW too and lost 1/2st in my first 2 weeks. Had a 1lb gain this week but this was due to not filling up on the "Superfree" foods and eating too much "Free" foods.

Hi Tigz! Welcome to the forum :) how did you get on?

Hi
I lost 4 pounds so very pleased. I think most of it is probably water weight but have set a goal of losing 3 pounds next week so I reach the half a stone mark.

Im hoping that by using this forum it will help me to stay on track and encourage me.

Well done btw Audrey! Super free foods are the key I think lol

Well done on your loss!

I personally love Slimming world. There's so much you can eat and still lose! Take today for an example, I'll be having a bolognese for lunch. :D

What are your favourite foods that you have had so far?

I've made the burgers and chips from this month's mag, syn free quiches and in the process of the 1/2 syn cake (waiting for it to cool - getting excited lol). Im suprised at how nice all of the recipes are. I enjoy cooking anyway so it's nice to try some new things! How about your favourite? :)

Hi. Well done on a great first week.

Whenever I re-start Slimming World, I often wonder why I ever fall off the wagon!! The meals are so tasty and diverse and you would never know you were dieting.

I had to txt the group consultant and ask if it's right that I can eat this much lol! I think I was just assuming diet equals less food not more.

Hi Tigz

Well done great loss!

How did the cake turn out?

I`m off out later to stock up..plenty of superfree stuff on the ever expanding list. Need to stop reading all the lovely recipes on here!

I made chicken a curry last night. I used a tin of chickpeas, tin of mushy peas and a tin of baked beans. Blitzed them in the blender and used this as the base, added lots of mushrooms, onions and spices. It had to be watered down quite a bit though as it was too thick. It turned out quite nice and tasty. Froze half of the base mixture as it made tons!!

The curry sounds really nice. Might have to make that next week!
The cake has turned out really nice. A little bit wet but lovely flavour. The fillibg tastes exactly like cream cheese - yum!
