eggs..... seem to get through a lot of those
cottage cheese
Low fat soft cheese
melba toasts
Scan bran - from group or Holland & Barrett
hifi bars -from group
qourn products
tinned fish
mugshots
cous cous
rice
dried pasta
meat
skimmed milk
don't get all these every week but use most of them during the week
shopping varies, depends on what i plan to have or if i want something in particular for a new recipe to cook
I'm sure others will add to this some when soon

Mine is more or less the same as zafiras. It depends what meals I have planned for the week as to what I buy but there are things that I always buy or already have.
Herbs (fresh or dried)
Stock cubes
Spices
Quark
Extra light mayo
400g wholemeal loaf
Fat free fromage frais
Unsweetened almond milk
Sweetner
I can't think of anything else but once you've had a look at some recipes you'll have an idea of anything else you need xx

My shopping always starts with vegetables. I don't make a list, I see what looks good in the vegetable section and then decide what will go with them. Usually fish or chicken. I use skinless, boneless chicken thighs a lot. I get fresh herbs sometimes, but not dried. I always get little gem lettuces because I like eating them on their own as a snack.
My supermarket does excellent bags of prepared vegetables for soups and casseroles. One bag of those and a potato and/or some celeriac makes loads of soup with hardly any effort.
Then I look at the fruit. Again, whatever looks nice.

Here's what I bought last night. I already have a freezer full of meat and fish, plenty of tins of things like baked beans, tonatoes, passata, mushy peas etc, frylight, Oxos, herbs and spices, sauces. Squash for drinks. xxx
