breakfast?

Hi again ;)

what about fruit with a syn free yogurt?
sw fry if you have the time.
Omlette
weetabix with a bananna chopped over them using your healthy extra milk
cereal

:)

35g dorset simply nutty muesli (hx b) topped with a muller light and chopped banana - really filling and keeps me going till a late lunch xx

If I don't have cereal or porridge I like to save my milk for a hot chocolate in the evenings. Then I would have 2 scrambled eggs and beans (microwaved) and some fruit. Or an omelette with lots of veggies and some cheese! Eggs are a godsend in slimming world!!!

I make overnight oats every night in a kilner jar - 35g oats, a muller light yogurt and frozen raspberries or fresh strawberries (frozen strawberries are not good). Different fruit and yogurt flavours make it different every day

I don't really eat breakfast until a good hour after Ive got up. So I tend to have a yoghurt with some fruit- oranges, banana, grapes etc. But there are plenty of good ideas and variety on the SW web site and in the search on this forum.

I'm meal planning but struggling with breakfast. What do you have?

I'm not a big fan of breakfast.
One because I prefer extra time in bed than getting up and rustling something together and two I can't eat a great deal in the morning either lol.

I'm a fan of this at the moment.

My breakfast jar.

I use a Mullerlight yogurt, 1 weetabix (part of HEB or 3 syns) broken up and a sliced banana.
Do it in layers then put lid on and in fridge the night before. I'm surprised too as the banana doesn't go brown or soggy.

I sometimes do it with a HEB of porridge oats mixed with yogurt too.
This morning u had abit when I woke up and then had the rest mid morning xxx

I've never eating huge breakfasts, or should I say healthy breakfasts, sometimes I just have a cup of tea and a piece of fruit, but recently I've been trying to. I go for eggs a lot. Sometimes eggwhite omelettes with spinach and tomato (ham if you want to add extra protein) and a piece of toast.

The last week of so I've had several versions of poached eggs and thick cut ham with tomatoes or spinach, which are really yummy and filling.

I tried having fruit and yogurt (banana and fat free vanilla) with muesli (HE) but I ended up with a headache by about 11am for some reason.

Now I have poached egg on toast, beans on toast (toast spread with Philadelphia light) or a veggie sausage sandwich. Bread is HEB from 400g loaf. I do green days.

I love breakfast. I like beans on toast or poached eggs on toast. But my fave at the minute (much to the disgust of my hubby and kids!) is toast topped with mackerel in mustard sauce (1/2 syn) - very healthy but stinks the kitchen out

I like my eggs in the morning. Either bacon eggs mushroom on 2 toast or beans on toast with eggs on top.

Beans on toast this morning, the whole can of course! . Had scrambled egg an tinned tomatoes yesturday. On work mornings I usually have 2 shredded wheat , skimmed milk an a chopped apple and pear on top.

I can't eat first thing (it makes me feel sick), so I have Spelt Porridge (40g because it's less calories than normal porridge) made with water for breakfast once I get to work (about 8.15am). I'm a maintainer and do red, so it uses one of my 3 HexBs but saves my HexA.

It fills me up beautifully, warms me up and keeps me 'regular' LOL ... For a treat I sometimes stir in a sachet of options hot chocolate and add a sliced banana - delish!! :D

I didn't realise spelt was hexb, I did pick up some spelt crackers for OH, but could do to nip to Waitrose for some spelt porridge for me.

I don't know that it is technically HexB lol - but given that it's much higher fibre than normal porridge oats (which is the whole point of a HexB), with less calories (a normal Hex portion always works out at about 140-150 calories) I just use it as one.

It's even higher fibre than scan bran - but tastes good! :D
