Question about the app

I'm a bit confused about whether the app refers to syns per item or the entire pack in a multipack. Eg today I looked up M&S posh dogs and it says:

"Marks & Spencer, The Grill Posh Dog Sausages, chilled 6 pack (100g each) - 9syns"

Does this mean 9 per sausage or 9 per chilled 6 pack? I thought it was 9 per sausage but I was told 9 per pack?

Each sausage is 100g, so I'm guessing it is per sausage. Sorry!

I would take it as 9 syns per sausage as well.

Having a look online, there is another type of sausage listed as 'chilled 8 pack, 57g each: half a syn' and I doubt 8 sausages would only be half a syn!

That's as I thought, although it goes against what we were told at meetings (which I also thought was wrong)
