Extra Easy Making my own sausages

Hi lovely people,

I want to start making my own sausages but I wanted to know if I would have to synned the skin of the sausage? Does anybody knows?

Depends what they are made of. Old-fashioned sausage skins were made from intestines but I don't think that is the case these days.

The ones that Lakeland sell in their kits are made from "dried beef collagen" - I would guess that this wouldn't have a syn value, but can't be sure, as I couldn't find a calorie value.
 
What a good idea,I would like to make my own too.i got the sausage machine with my kenwood chef about 3 yrs ago and have never used it.would be nice to dust it off and put it to work.Have no idea about syn values,but can't imagine it would be horrendous.
