Heya!

My name's Gemma and I've decided to undertake Slimming World after it was recommended to me by a friend. A bit of background information...
When I was 18 I was obese. In my second term at uni I started eating healthily and exercising and (to date) have lost around 43lbs (196 -> 153).
I turned vegetarian in August 2013 and am currently eating closer to a vegan diet.
I hit 153lbs in December 2013 and since then have fluctuated up 5lbs or down 5lbs either side, not really making any further progress. Calorie counting isn't doing it for me any more and that's why I've decided to trial SW, as there isn't any 'overall' restriction per se...if I'm hungrier on certain days I can eat more. I'm also trialling this alongside Intuitive Eating as I feel my relationship with food needs to improve 100%.

I'm also looking to study to become a Dietitian once I've finished my undergrad so nutrition/exercise is something that's very important to me!
