Hi there,

I've always been a big fan of minimins but haven't had to sign up because my questions have already been answered through an easy Google search.

I'm continuously on Slimming World as it is just healthy eating really. I am however a lazy thing because I have such a stressful job and like to just bring a lunch that I can throw in my bag in the morning.

Been a big fan of mug shots, the low fat super noodles, uncle bens rice and ainsly cous cous but I've started to get bored of them for lunches after a year and a half of that every day.

The main point is; Sainsburys have just brought out a new range of meals near the mugshot section called 'micro pots', 'grain pots' and 'rice pots'. They're probably super syn-ful especially if you use the 20 cal = 1 syn rule, but they looked so good!

My question is, does anyone know anything about these delightful looking snack pots? Or would be willing to run it through the syn calculator? Or ask in a group? I dont have a membership anymore.

The info is as follows:

Meatball arribiata micro pot: cal, 259. Energy: 763kj. Fat, 7.0g. Saturates, 2.1g. Sugars, 12.3g. Salt, 2.10g

Med veg fusilli micro pot: cal 181. Energy, 763kj. Fat, 3.8g. Saturate, 1.8g. Sugar 9.3g. Salt, 1.50g.

Mexican style bean grain pot: cal 283. Energy 1198kj. Fat 2.0g. Saturates 0.7g. Sugar 8.8g. Salt: 0.72g

Chicken tikka rice pot. Cal 281. Energy 1187kj. Fat 3.8g. Saturate 1.7g. Sugar 4.2g. Salt 1.00g.

This one I think will be big:

Pulled pork and beans micro pot: cal 301. Energy 1274kj. Fat 2.5g. Saturates 0.7g. Sugar 22.8g. Salt 1.75g.

Any help is appreciated!!

Hi,

To calculate the syns you need the pack size (these are all 250g or 250g), and also its not the saturates, sugar and salt you need its the Carbs, protein and fat content! I had a quick search on sainsburys site to get those and the Med Veg one is 9 sys, and the Pulled pork 15, and meatball 13 syns...imagine the rest will be around the same sort of figures x
