Extra Easy SP Top Tips Anyone???

I've been having an up and down time of it. Good weight loss last week then put nearly all of it back on this week due to eating out for most of the week. I want to try EE SP this week to give me a boost again. I have tried red/original days in the past and I always seem to be hungry and never really had great weight losses. I REALLY like my carbs and most of the fruit I reach for is bananas and grapes (I also have 2 massive punnets of bluberries in the fridge ) so this will be a struggle for me but if it's going to work...... Anyone got any top tips to get me through it? I have planned a weeks menu (and struggled not to add carbs) so all set to go.

I don't have any tips because I haven't tried SP myself yet, but I wish you luck! It sounds like a tough plan if you like carbs (I do too) but I guess that's why it works. I reckon the fact that you've planned out all your meals means you're going to nail it this week

Good luck, Kerry. As Pootle says, let us know how you do. No tips, I'm afraid because I haven't tried it. It seems to have had mixed responses. Some people say they've lost well on it whilst others say it's no different from just doing EE. Some have even said they appear to have lost less than when doing EE. Be interesting to see what you think. Fingers crossed for you.

Best of luck on SP I do it now and again and get good losses sometimes around 5-6lbs if I do it for a week. My biggest tips would be making sure all your meals are 1/2 P & 1/2 S & snack on plenty of S foods. I also love quark as it's a P food & great to snack on with fruit in the evening as I have a sweet tooth. I enjoy SP and find it very filling so rarely use my syns as think the extra protein Definetly fills you up! Good luck let us know how you get on!

I did it for 2 days last week, having never tried it before, to see if I could boost my losses, and also to recover from a bad first 2 days of the week where I went to a conference and went completely off plan lol. Prior to that I had slowed down to 1 or 2lbs a week despite being 100% on plan (I do EE all the time). I lost 3lbs so was really pleased, considering I had only been on plan for 5 days out of the 7.

I also love my carbs and bananas are a staple of my diet! I usually have one for breakfast and sometimes another one late afternoon! so that was a big departure for me.

Both days I had a big fruit salad for breakfast and I kept loads of SS fruit to hand and picked at it all day. I also drank loads of water and NAS squash to help fill me up. I was definitely hungrier than I am on EE, but not starving. Having 2 HEB's instead of the one you get on EE helped with that.

I just told myself it was temporary pain for long term gain! It's only a week and hopefully your loss will be worth the effort, I definitely thought mine was

So I have stuck to SP solidly since Saturday except for 1 banana on Saturday. I was worried about feeling hungry as I have previously tried Original days and was always starving. I think because I could still have beans and pulses it has really helped. I haven't felt hungry but I have really missed the fruit i'm not allowed and yogurts not to mention the carbs. I have struggled to find alternatives (had mince with a big plate of cabbage instead of potatoes but really didn't enjoy it) so have pretty much stuck to having a huge plate of salad and not eaten anything in a sauce (other than the mince). I weigh in tomorrow so will let you know how it goes

Make sure you plan well, it's doable but a bit of a struggle for carb loves like me. I have been doing it for nearly 2 weeks, 5lb off last night.

Maybe try some speed fruit to snack on, I was the same always going for bananas & grapes, found that I love melon.

    Good luck.
