After first week with a big gain i wss a bit put off,do since then have been eating junk,so need to get back on track, and hope i get the hang of it ,wish me luck x

Well done for taking back control. I find planning ahead works well for me, don't forget there is a sample 7 day menu on the website, if you want to make your first week a little easier.

If you do a plan feel free to pop it in here and someone can have a look at it for you. A loss on your first week would be disheartening but well done for sticking with it. You wont regret it x

Well done my lovely. Xxx

Thankyou very much, thanks for your support x

Anytime.

Its hard doing it alone, supports always most important, next to willpower xx

You have done well, any good advice x

My advice would be don't be so hard on yourself. Losing weight is a journey and although we all have the same ultimate goal, it is essentially a solo trek. Only you can sabotage or succeed, and if you truly want to succeed then you will.

Allow yourself the little treats you want, learn to enjoy moderation and embrace this community with everything you have as quite honestly I couldn't do it without any of them.

A stone is achievable if you stick to plan, but don't rush it, enjoy it. Take one day at a time.

I will try not to have takeaway, but will have half portion of chips and some drink like i normally do but it is only once a week

Try bulking out your takeaway with a big salad. Or maybe try to have the healthier option on the menu. Boiled rice, or chicken kebab, or remove the batter from chip shop fish and it's syn free.

You can still live your life and be a slimming worldian.

Always keep the fruit bowl full and interesting. And try to make it your first port of call if the munchies strike.:)

Youve got this. You CAN do it.

What kind of things a day do you eat, when ihad my first week iwas never hungry,i like the egg in mug, mugshots, quiche

I thinl

A typical day for me would be:

Breakfast, 35g porridge oats hexb
350 ml skimmed milk ( not all in the porridge, save a bit for cups of tea through the day)
Frozen raspberries
1tsp honey - 1 syn
a few drops of almond essence.

Lunch would be:
Either:

Spicy sweet sour mugshot and fruit and yogurt ( muller light or Aldi brooklea fat free Greek style lemon)
Or, scrambled eggs and sliced lean ham with mushrooms.
or, cheese and broccoli pasta n sauce followed by fruit.

At tea time I cook something we all can eat,

Shepherds pie, lean mince, onions mushrooms, beef stock and baked beans topped with mashed spud served with loads of green beans and cauliflower.

Or Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausage pasta. Sauce made with passata, tinned toms, onions mushrooms garlic courgettes, mixed with the cooked sliced sausages and cooked pasta. Pour into shallow oven proof dish and top with a tub of fat free from age frais and pop in the oven for about 25 mins. Served with salad or green beans.

I tend to. keep my syns for little bits of chocolate or a hifi light bar in the evening.
Xx

I will have to cook for myself, fussy family

Make small changes and I guarantee you they won't notice.

For instance, spaghetti bolognese, made syn free can be eaten by all, and mine don't even notice the difference.

Lean mince, onions mushrooms courgettes, tinned tomatoes, passata, garlic, mixed herbs .
