    Healthy Extra A Choices

    Do you have one or two A choices?? I've always only had one using 350ml skimmed milk but my friend has 2?

    Well i dont usually have 2 HE-A's but if i do its more milk....incase i drink alot of coffee/tea that day.

    March lose 7lbs=lost 5.5
    April lose 7lbs=???
    wk1- 4lbs ,wk2- 4 1/2lbs, wk3- stayed the same, wk4- stayed the same, wk-5 5 1/2lbs, wk6- 1/2 on *week, wk7- 1lb on, wk8-3 1/2 off, wk9- 1/2 on, wk10- 2 1/2 off wks 11+12- 2 1/2 off. wk13-2lb ON!

    Most days I have 2 - half pint of SS and a couple of days I have 1oz cheese (have to remember to take out of freezer as I cannot leave in fridge - too much temptation). If I am not having cheese I allow up to l pint of SS and that morning I may have cereal or have a milky coffee of an evening.

    I try to use all of mine but it depends on what I want to eat that day. I don't have them for the sake of it but I know they are there if I need them.

    My consultant says we should have them all as they are there to alllow us to have what our bodies need
    Failure doesn't happen until you give up trying!

    At some stage everyone will hit a plateau and the weight will just stop still for a while, could be weeks or a few months! It's a real knock to be so good but the scales don't budge.

    So the way I look at it is this:

    If you have all your HE's and most or all of your Syns then when you stop losing for no reason you can start to cut back. The more you can eat and still lose weight, the more you have to cut back on when you need a kick start
    Failure doesn't happen until you give up trying!

    Hi Guys,

    Its important you have your HE's to make the plan balanced. The rule is once or twice from A and twice from B daily. Your A choices are calcium, and calcium actually facilitates weight loss so don't be scared of using them!!

    I only normally have 1 A but both B's. Unless i have cheese on my omlette or feta in my greek salad or mozerella melted under the grill on top of my jacket spuds! Made myself hungry now!

    Even if you dont use them try adding the 2nd HE-A to a options or highlight hot chocolate.

    Thanks for the replies everyone!
    I had 2 yesterday for the first time and it was a godsend actually 'cos I was starving at 4 pm so had some laughing cow light on a wholemeal roll! I think I will have 2 all the time now! I always use my milk - cereal every morning and then milk in my teas all day.
    Taz that's a really good point actually, especially as I'm fairly new, it gives me something to cut out later!
