fruit cocktail in juice?? mag printing error?? - MiniMins.com

Hi guys,

I'm just looking through the latest SW magazine and on page 30 & 31 there is a 7 day planner (beach count down) and on day 1 for breakfast says 400g can of fruit cocktail in juice and gives a ZERO syns value at the bottom of the list ... GREAT, I LOVE IT.

but, when I looked in my 2006 directory for the Del Monte Fruit Cocktail in juice it says for 100g it's 2.5 syns.

Is this because my 2006 directory is so out of date or did they print an error in the Magazine??

Does anyone have an up to date directory to check this one?? PLEEEEEASE???

In the directory it will give provision for you to also have the juice but in the 7 day plan it will require you to drain the fruit. the Syns are most likely just for the juice.

But yeah, the 2006 directory is out of date and it wouldn't hurt to buy a new one or wait for the 2009 one

Forgive me for being dim..... I need to ask then...

Is the fruit cocktail FREE if you drain it and a healthy extra B if you don't drain it...and are we talking 400g here or 100g??

The tinned fruit in the 7 day plan is meant to be a HEX B as there is only one other HEX B that day. (I did this plan a few weeks ago and counted the tin fruit as HEX B). I don't know about the drained/undrained though. I drained mine as I don't particularly like the juice anyway.

yea i was always under the impression it was a healthy B, i had something like 390g of pear in juice for a healthy b the other day so id imagine its being counted as a healthy extra there
