Syns online or food directory??

I was looking somthing up in the directory and then i checked online for a smaller size but it wasnt there just the same as in the book.
The thing is thesyns were different, only by 0.5 but still !!

So what im asking is, syns online or directory? Sometimes i cant get online so thats why i got the up to date directory. Should there be a difference?
