Thread: Bought a countdown

Set a target weight a few months ago - not really happy with it but since then seem to have gone off the rails, missed class etc.
Lost 0.5lb last week
So tonight I bought a countdown for several reasons:
Will make me go to class which I enjoy and only 6 weeks until Christmas - hope to lose at least 7lbs.

Good on you, it shows you are commiting to the diet. I will be getting a 12 week countdown on Thursday x

Stupid question but what is a countdown?

I've also been wondering about this! I gather from other posts that it possibly means paying for a few weeks upfront. I might do that! Do you save any money doing it?

There are 2 countdown's
6 wks pay for 5 -£22.50 (1 wk free)
12 wks pay for 10 - £45 ( 2 wks free)

thanks for the details, I think I might get a 6 week one tomorrow, good motivator and also will stop me having to fumble in my purse for the right money each week

I think they are a good idea, I am getting the 12 week countdown cos I am a skinflint and know that if I pay £45 I will keep to it as i wont wanna waste my money lol
