hi there

has any 1 tried eithr of these and which do you find most effective for boosting weight loss, has slowed down alot and need a kick start

cheers

Personally I found that a week of Success Express truly accelerated my weight loss - warning though you need *lots and lots* of superfree food - I had to shop twice that week ;)

Plan it carefully with foods you are really going to enjoy (ie make that 1/3 something you actually want to eat), stick to it like glue, keep it all the same height on the plate (ie don't cheat the proportions) and you should have a fab loss 7 days later :D

Success Express is great for boosting your loss, don't know why more people don't use it really ... need to be a bit of a fruit/veg head though

You can do it for one day here and there or a whole week, but if you did it for a week, you would see a good loss..

SE is where you have to imagine your plate divided into 3:

ONE third can be any free food from any plan - jacket potato and tuna, spagetti bolognese, shepherds pie, chicken curry and rice, SW chips and beans ... you get the idea

TWO thirds of your plate then has to be superfree food (yellow pages) salad, veggies, fruit, eggs, quorn, cottage cheese, tofu etc ...

Obviously you shouldn't have a tower of free and a scattering of superfree rotfl

You have your 2B and 2A choices as extras
Syns are counted at the HIGHEST rate .

sample menu just so it makes sense ...

Breakfast:

free food (1/3) - bacon, beans
superfree (2/3) tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs
on the side HB toast

Lunch

free food (1/3) jacket potato filled with tuna and sweetcorn
superfree (2/3) huge salad - leaves, peppers, cucumber, toms, celery, boiled egg, free salad dressing, cottage cheese etc etc also afters of a piece of fruit and muller light count towards this 2/3

snack - cereal or hi fi bar (B choice)

Dinner

Free food (1/3) slimming world chips
Superfree (2/3) mushroom and tomato omlette / sw quiche. big piece of melon for starter or pud :D
Extra - HA of cheese on the chips or in the omlette

does that help?

Success Express is fantastic for boosting weight loss and I would highly recommend it.

I lost 3lb after sticking for ages and ages when getting close to target. It is hard and does feel a little like a "normal diet" but worth it. You only snack on superfree foods, so get lots of yoghurts, fruit, FF cottage cheese etc to fill the gap. I had a big plate of cottage cheese with carrot stick, peppers and cucumber for my evening snack.

It is well worth it though and if it does get a bit tricky, just tell yourself that it's only for a week and when you go back to the usual red/green/EE it feels so good!!!

Want to try a couple days of this but can you tell me if i can snack on fruit and muller whenever i am hungry.......

It is a bit like a more complicated extra easy but you get your 2 a and bs (yay!) - i want 2.5 off to get my stone so if i do this thu/fri/sat - do you think it will boost my loss.....

ps how big should the plate be lol ;)

You can snack on all superfree foods throughout the day and your starters and deserts have to be superfree too.

The other thing is that you can have 3 meals a day so if your breakfast uses an A and B then you can have a supper of a meal following the thirds rule.

And your plate can be as big or small as you like!!!! Just follow the thirds rule.

You can do as many days on this as you like, every little helps!!

Will try this for 3 days then :) and let you know how i get on on Monday. Please let me get my stone lol

I'm sure you will like it Natalie - you will be able to snack as much as you want on mullers and fruit - but do plan it ahead, just needs a bit more thinking about :) 3 days will certainly give your weight loss a push in the right direction!

Ah, I thought this was some sort of slimming pill you could buy at first  lol

I think I'll try this if I end up sticking near target. :)

I tried mix2max but i just confused my self with this. Can some one help me ~?

Hi Gemma,
You decide at each meal whether to go red or green.
You have 2 A's and 2 B's from either choice.
You have 15 syns.
You only snack on superfree foods.

It's a good plan, especially if you don't want to (or can't) plan for the full day!

Give it a go!!
Jay xx:)

Thanks for that, but i heard you count the highest syns.
Say i do a green meal with pasta in a sauce do i still count the highest syns value or does this only count inbetween the meals?

Hi Gem,
If you have a pasta in sauce and it's free on green then it would be free for that meal if it's a green meal. If it's 1 syn on green then it would be 1 syn for that meal.
Does that make sense? I hope so!!

You syn for treats and between meals, so if you have sausages as a snack for example, then you would count the highest syn value.

Your meals are as they would be for red/green days.

It's not as confusing as I made it sound!!!

Great!
I understand now,. so if its a green lunch i count the green syns value, but if its a snack with syns i count the highest!
Sorry i have been told different things .Glad i understand now :D

I'm going to try success express this week - so am I on the right lines here for my meals today?

B'fast - 2 boiled eggs and a bowl of bran flakes
Lunch - Salad with tuna
Snacks - 2 plums, 1 pear, 2 kiwi
Dinner - roasted salmon and veg with noodles.

B - perfect 100% superfree and B/A(milk) choice - you don't even 'have' to count this as a meal.

L - tuna 1/3, salad 2/3

snacks - perfect

D - if the salmon and noodles filled 1/3 of plate, and veg was 2/3 then this is a great SE meal.

Technically, as only L and D count as SE meals, you could have another 1/3, 2/3 meal!!

Sounds interesting....I have been enjoying extra easy a lot. I am going to try this if i get stuck at some point :)
