a day can you have?
Have just found out a mini bar of green & blacks milk chocolate is only 5.5 syns a day (both green and red day) which I'm happy about as it's my fav chocolate!
between 0 and 15 but class leader usually helps set your level
I know syns are completely acceptable but I cant help but feel I shouldnt be having them...I need to have a sit down with my brain and have a wee chat lol

Sorry, but you need to get that way of thinking out of your head. If we weren't supposed to be having Syns then they wouldn't be a built in part of the plan.
You'll soon come to realise that Syns are actually quite an important part of the plan, and you should aim to have up to 15 a day - I believe it's recommended that you have at least 5 each day.

Yes I totally agree, the whole plan infact seems to good to be true when you consider the thought of a diet makes you hungry yet here there is so much free food and syns and it works....
Thanks for your advise, im doing this from home as of tomorrow with this group as support as we have no groups where I live and ive given up so many times doing it myself.![]()
Some people find they lose less frequently if they lower/cut out their syns. It also gives you something to cut back on if your weight loss does stall as you get nearer to target as it often does (ie. reduce syns from 15 a day to 5 a day), if you're already not having enough there'll be nothing to help give you that push later on.
I have close to 15 syns every single day and am losing sonsistently. Have only had one week gain and that was after Xmas and New Year, so it must work!It's hard to get your head around accepting it at first but you've got to remember Slimming World isn't a diet. It's a lifestyle change
