    Pasta & Sauce

    Hi there

I have just slimming world, do know quite abit about the diet, as did it about 8 years ago , obviously it has changed a little. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me whether pasta & sauces were still free on a green day. In the book you get when you join it says 2.5 each, now is this because they are including the milk and butter or are they no longer free??

    thanks alot

Batchelors Pasta & sauce, carbonara - 1/ syn excl milk & butter

Batchelors Pasta & sauce, cheese, leek & ham - 1 syn excl milk & butter

Batchelors Pasta & sauce, chicken & mushroom - free excl milk & butter

Batchelors Pasta & sauce, chicken & roasted garlic - free excl milk & butter

Batchelors Pasta & sauce, creamy chicken & herb - free excl milk & butter

Batchelors Pasta & sauce, creamy tikka masala - free excl milk & butter

ahh thanks very much yamyam for looking that all up for me. I think I will have to invest in a food directory.

You seem like you are doing really well on the diet, well done!

    All the best

I love the broccoli and cheese one.... it's really cheesy. I used to make mine up and mix it with halved cherry tomatoes and steamed broccoli, then put it in an ovenproof dish and mix a B choice of breadcrumbs and an A choice of really mature cheese then grill until the top is crunchy & cheesy. Absolutely gorgeous!

I can't eat carbonara but the broccoli and cheese sounds really delicious how you describe it. I will have to check them out next time I go shopping!!

janey, id be surprised if the carbonara has any real bacon in it to be honest. you should check as it's definitely the yummiest flavour! mushroom and wine is lovely as well.

i like cheese and brocolii too. i always put it with veg but hadnt thought of making it into a pasta bake as such. another great idea!

mmm, definately going to try it the way yamyam described, on their own I find them a bit sickly and not very substantial, mixing it with veg and breadcrumbs sounds like it would give it a bit more substance, must buy some tomorrow
