    Zest - I used to waitress too when I was younger in a posh hotel. It was great as the chef used to save me some of the deserts hehe.

    Well, we didnt go to gym last night, we opted for a valentines meal instead but we done it on the cheap and gone one of the "two dine for ten pound" meal deals from Morrisons. It included a main to share, a side, desert and a bottle of wine so really good deal. We did get an extra bottle of wine though so I am a little fragile today haha. So i treated yesterday as a treat day and I had about 2070 calories which is okay I guess.

    Have brought my trainers to work today so will go out for a walk at lunch time and hoping to get to the gym tonight and tomorow.

    Mr D got back in time for our 'date', I cooked a nice meal, and we had "Lover's Kiss'' Cocktails !!! It was a calorie fest, but scrummy !!! It's funny but today I have a sort of food hangover, you know, that kind of stodgy feeling, like I'm hauling around a medicine ball in my tummy ! Yuk !!!
    It was nice having a drink or two, but that's me back on the wagon until probably April/May, and I don't really miss it and definitely DON"T miss the sugar and calories, hehe!!

    Zesty, I'm like you about going out to eat on Valentine's Day, all the restaurants do two or three sittings and I hate being rushed through a meal, plus a lot of places have a set theme menu for the evening and that annoys me too !! I'm a fussy old bird !!

    We have a long weekend here this weekend ( Presidents Day), so Mr D and I are planning on some walking and a visit or two to our favourite Coffee shops, will probably do a meal out next weekend, as I think I'm going to feel full for days now !! He did get extra points for Valentine's Day, as he did buy me some lovely presents, gotta love Duty Free shopping, lol !!!

    Diva - Sounds like yous had a lovley Valentines. I have to ask - what is in one of those cocktails?

    I am angry at myself today - I was good Friday, so so saturday and bad yesterday diet-wise. I felt so anxious about it I hardly slept last night. I am so hard on myself sometimes. I just feel like all the hard work last week will have been for nothing as I had a few dodgy days. But, onwards and upwards. I did lose 1lb last week so just hoping I didnt do any damage yesterday with my 3000+ calories and am back on the wagon today. Gonna try be dead dead good all week this week and aim for a 2lb loss this week to take me down to 11.3lb. Fingers crossed I can do it!

    Watched an amaxing programme about penguins last night (the second part is on tonight) but now I want a baby penguin haha.

    It's a very simple Cocktail Kassy, Champagne ( oh yeah !! ), Chambord Liqueur ( mmmm ) and then serve two frozen raspberries floating around in it, so they can "kiss". (I didn't dust them with sugar first and then freeze, neither did I rim the glasses ) They were delicious !!! We also had wine and beers !! Hehe !!

    I got a STS this a.m, hardly surprising after the food and alcohol fest !! Oh well, off we go again, I'm aiming for a couple more pounds gone this Feb !! It's almost lunchtime here and Mr D wants egg muffins for lunch, so I may join him in one of those ( home made ones, lol, not MaccyD's !! ) , then it's Roast Garlic Chicken, scalloped potato bake, and organic roasted carrot and peas for dinner !! Yummy !!

    Well done in getting to the Gym, Kassy !! Yep, I did have one Egg Muffin ( Mr D had two !! ) but it was prepared healthily, as much as I could, was delicious too. That's the good thing with cc-ing, no forbidden foods as long as you count them and control the portion size !! Back to my stricter during the week portions and exercise every day, if I can, then slightly more cals at the weekend, because I'm human, hehe !!

    Diva - I love how you have calculated your miles from walking from 2 cities. Thats such a good idea. Shows how far you have done. You are ace at motivating yourself for all the walking. I am with you on CCing. It allows for so much more variety. I'll stick with it the whole time.

    I was pretty good yesterday - 1550 calories. Could have been better byt had a chrunchie bar (180 cals) after tea last night. I done another 30 min alk yesterday - I think I walk about 3 mile per hour. I need to get one of those pedomitors so i can see how far I am walking. Didnt go to gym lastnight but going tonight and 2moro and probally Saturday afternoon - so that will be 4 sessions this week. I tend to burn around 300 calries in the 45 min that am there.

    Hoping to get on another 30 min lunchtime walk today so keep your fingers crossed that the rain stops xxx

    Sumit wierd must have happened here - I did come on here and type a post and it seems to have disapeared or not come on at all. Strange.

    Zest - Where is the hen doo? Are yous getting dressed up?

    Diva - I am slowley turning into you haha. Only day I missed for walk was yesterday as I had shin splints and they were killing me. I think I have started too fast and not eased myself into it. plus the walk I do is on a bit of an incline. Am sure I'll get used to it soon tho. Who would have thought you could get shin splits off walking - i thought it was off running haha. Have you had them?

    I have remained good on diet but as yet dont feel any lighter so I gave the scales a miss this morning for fear of not seeing as much as a result I would like so will be as good for the next week and then get weighed. Hope to see am down to the really low end of 11.

    On Wednesday I had about 1500 calories and yesterday I had about 1450 calories and went to gym last night too so I am doing everything I can to shift this last stone. Will got for a walk today too on my lunch break eventhough its freezing.

    I'm off out for a meal tonight with the lasses but I am gonna chose as healthy option that is available coz want to remain being good this weekend.

    Do yous have much plans this weekend?

    Kids are stopping at ours tonight so we going to take them to see wreck-it-ralph in 3D at the pics. Then gonna squeeze a quick gym sesh in tomorow afternoon then am off to the wedding dress shop with my two maids of honour to get them measured for their dresses. Then tomorow night the Adonis and I are going to have a few drinks (i'll stick with vod and diet coke). The we will probally have a DVD day on Sunday.

    Hope you have had a good weekend.

    I went out for tea with the lasses on Friday night and what a hoot it was. Has sore cheekbones haha. I was naughty tho and had some wine and vodka and went for mince and cobbler with chips. We all then went to the shop for chocolate after haha.

    But I was expecting at least a 1-2lb loss as I was soooo good last week but i bloody gained 1lb. How the heck????? I am not going to let it get to me though and keep powering on through. I was okay on Saturday but then pretty bad again yesterday but back to being super strick from today. This week I am aiming for a few lass calories 1200-1400 a day and then see what the scales say at the end of this week.

    Kassy, you and your tipples !!! I'm back to being tea total again, cos, I know one glass will lead to a bottle of Vino, and I really don't have the cals to spare on that !! Only special, special occasions for me now !! Sorry about the gain, bet you'll thrash that pound this week and a couple more if you stick with it. Our bodies ( ladies in particular, can be a right pain can't they ?? )

    Mr D and I had a nice relaxing weekend, managed one walk, but it was a stroll, so I didn't count it, and I didn't wear a Pedometer, anyway ! We went to a couple of Open Houses near us, they are really popular here, the houses were quite nice, and in our area, so it was a good indication of what the property market is doing here. We don't plan to move from our TownHouse, but we like to get ideas on decor and how other people utilise space. One was a four bed with a study/ sewing room on the ground floor too, had a small fenced in garden, which we prefer, less work !! Lovely big kitchen with patio doors to the garden and one of those big kitchen islands !! A great double garage attached with one of those doors into the house from it ( actually lead into a utility room with a little Bathroom, this place was big! ) Plus, there was a driveway up with room for like three cars, too. It was on for around $300,000 about 198,500 GBP, approx.

    We plan to go to around two or three of these Open Houses a month, just to keep an eye, plus it gives us tons of ideas for poshing up our place, lol !! I used to hate having to book an appointment with the Estate Agents, then going around a property with them, this is much more relaxed and you can turn up and just go around on your own ! Perfect !!

    Kassy, are you moving after you get married ? Did you move into the Adonis' place ? I can't remember !!

    Right, my exercise is done, I've updated my stats, it's time to get busy !! Lol !!
