    This Time I have to do this...

    Well I think this is the best forum for me to be in..
    So my story so far... Been overweight for nearly 15 years now.. had a bad divorce and the weight piled on over the years .. I used food and drink as a comfort ..
    I kidded myself that I was happy fat and at my heaviest ballooned to nearly 22 stone!!! not a good look.. So I avoided mirrors ... wore black.. but this couldnt go on as I was just getting bigger and bigger .. So I did lose some and was very motivated at the beginning of this year..
    but I moved house in April.. and that was it and the weight has come back
    So what did I do... bury my head in the sand.. and the result is I am now 18 stone 6!!!
    I don't want to be big, I don't want to be fat.. This site was my life saver before so Here I am again looking forward to getting to know everyone again..
    So Day One begins...
    Starting Weight : 18.8 August 2011
    Restart WW 1st March : 16.9
    Week 1 : -4 pounds : 16.5
    Week 2 : -2 pounds : 16.3
    Week 3 : -2 pounds : 16.1
    Week 4 : STS

    YOU CAN DO THIS. Visualise this time next week when you are updating your ticker with at least a 3lb loss, probably way more. Imagine how you will feel, knowing that your heavy starting weight is behind you never to be seen again!

    I look at my list of losses in my signature and cannot quite believe they are mine, I thought they were what happened to successful slimmers, not me. Now I realise I AM a successful slimmer and all I have to do is keep going.

    Good luck Katie, not that you need it, but every little helps. By Christmas time you will be at least 3 stone down and raring to go.

    May to December 2011 28lbs lost.

    Weight gained between December 2011-March 2012 = 9lbs
    March 26th - Back with a vengeance!

    New day for weigh-ins- Mondays.
    Start weight 15.11
    April 2nd - 1lb lost = 15.10
    April 9th - 2lbs lost = 15.8
    April 16th -1lb lost = 15.7
    April 23rd - STS = 15.7 = acceptable!

    BMI Information:
    I too have to make this the last and final time I loose weight. I have 40lbs to loose that I have gained in the past year. This will be the third time I have lost it.

    This time it is a life style change - not a quick fix. I am focusing on solving emotional/lonely eating and going to attempt to channel all my extra energy into weight loss.

    This Baby_Cakes is going to fit perfectly in the cup case - no muffin tops!

    I agree reference the lifestyle change there are no quick fixes I too am looking at the emotional reasons I eat and drink.. In the last few months it s been a case of stress burying my head in the sand.. kidding myself.. (by avoiding the scales)
    So day 2 for me... I am trying to think positive thoughts and reading everyones diaries on here.

    Getting in the swing of it?

    I hope so; I try and spend a lot of time thinking about all the things that will improve as the weight comes off, that helped a lot, especially at the beginning. You could try that too - mentally picking out some new clothes, or even going on line and looking at all the lovely stuff that will fit you soon!

    I think the main thing is this time I am being honest with myself (i.e admitting I look big!! and not a size 16 lol.. )

    Am drinking lots of water, planning my evening.. (usually temptation time) Will keep myself busy with things that dont involve food..

    What is helping me is reading everyone s diaries and realising I'm not the only one doing this.. I'm going to be totally honest with my thoughts on here.
    I went to London with work on Friday... on the train.. I could almost hear the people sigh as I squeezed myself onto the spare seat then I spent the rest of the journey trying to hold myself in so as not to touch the people next to me!! The only spare seat was the middle one of three seats... Well never again!!! I want to be able to slip into a seat!!!

    oooh yes, i can relate to the 'breathing in' when squashed into the only remaining seat, and praying the journey or waiting time ends soon

    I've stood in similiar situations, rather than try to squeeze in uncomfortably...you're not alone on that one KatieRose

    Keep posting your thoughts, its one of the many things that i do, that keeps me focused!

    Enjoy your day..and ignore rude morons who 'sigh' when you sit beside them! You'll be slim..they, however, will always be morons!!!!
