what do you do when you start to lose footing?

What do you do when you catch yourself slipping into the beginning of a binge? How do you stop it?

When I was on exante (total food replacement) I just wrote on my diary on here and it helped because the feeling of hunger wasn't there it was all in my mind. Now I'm calorie counting and the last 2 days have been so hard. I'm struggling dragging myself though this. I want to quit but I just don't want to throw it all away but I need to find a way to stop myself from falling on my face.

Wow you've achieved so much! Definitely hang in there, food is such a tricky substance and you just need t give yourself a chance to get used your diet change. If you're feeling hungry then check the amount of carbohydrates you're having as they can really cause cravings even the so called 'diet' products, so things like special K, it might be low calories but will cause rebound eating later. Our bodies has to work much harder to process fats, proteins and fibre so it will leave you feeling fuller for longer. Oh and water, water, water, drinking water really helps too.

My favourite snack is frozen raspberries (they'll actually crumble straight from the freezer) with yoghurt over the top, instant icecream and about 100ish calories. Hope that helps.
