Unhappy I don't know what to do... Give up?

Help would be so gratefully appreciated!!!

Im on week 8 of the cambridge diet, sole source, and my weight loss is really dipping and it just feels ridiculously pointless :-(.

    My weight loss has gone as follows;
    October -
    01.10.2012 - 16 st 2lb08.10.2012 - 15 st 7lb -9
    15.10.2012 - 15 st 3lb -4
    22.10.2012 - 14 st 11lb -6
    29.10.2012 -14 st 7lb - 4

    23lb month 1

    November -
    05.11.2012 - 14 st 5lb -2
    12.11.2012 - 13st 13lb -5
    19.11.2012 - 13st 12lb -1
    26.11.2012 - 13st 9lb -3

    11lb month 2

I know that I am still loosing, and I understand that is good but for me it feels really difficult as its so much dedication, whilst only loosing 1/2lb :-(.

I'm currently on 4 CD products, and thinking about reducing it to 3 as I am only just into the 4products hieght limit. Does anyone have anything to recommend that may increase my weight loss. Feeling really down, demotivated and like I am close to giving up.

:-( grateful for any help.. X

Some weeks are like that. Up your water intake and stay committed. If you givein now you will undo all that hard work which has already allowed you some amazing results. Dig deep and stay focused. I am restarting after having my baby. But I have done Cambridge before and successfully. Reward yourself with a treat like a new pair of shoes, manicure or just a lush bath. Good luck.

Don't know if you can see my signature but I only lost 9lbs in month 2. It was a hard month to deal with, butttt I'm sure it will pick up again for you! I've now lost 5st in 21 weeks, and 2 weeks ago I lost 4lbs! So the losses are still there weeks down the line.

Dont give up, just roll with the punches, you are doing so well x
Week 21: -3lbs TARGET REACHED! (Can afford to lose a few more lbs so anything else lost working up the cambridge steps is a bonus!)
week 22 (step 2): STS (TOTM and target celebrations!)
    week 23 (step 2): +2lbs... Oops
    week 24 (step 3): -3lbs
    week 25 (step 3):

    Week 1-4: -25lbs
    Week 5-8: -9lbs
    Week 9-12: -13lbs
    Week 13-16: -11lbs
    Week 17-20: -12lbs

Sorry, but are you looking at the same stats as me? You say you are only losing 1-2lbs but you're not. You lost 6lbs in week 2, not 5lbs as you say (14.5 to 13.13 is 6lbs off) and 3lbs in week 4. Why are you focusing on the lower losses and not the larger ones? Focus on and get positive about the good weeks and roll with the punches on the not so great ones. So you actually lost 12lbs November going from 14.7 to 13.9. That is a great loss for a four week period. I'm not sure what losses are predicted on Cambridge as I'm a restarter, but with Exante, and we are told 14lbs IN A MONTH. You did 12lbs in four weeks with a few days in hand for the whole month. And looking at your weight, in the grand scheme of things, you don't have as much to lose as a lot of people on here so you will start losing it more slowly as your base metabolic rate reduces as a result of your weight loss. So, please, start focusing on the positives and don't give up. On what other diet would it be possible to lose 12 lbs in four weeks?

    Hello!!

Sorry for the ridiculously long wait for a reply... Iv had the craziest week at work!! :-(

Thank you do much for your responses. I think it's a case of feeling really negative and rubbish... I guess it was a midway thing and just felt low. Luckily this weeks weigh in was a 5lb loss so I feel slightly more possitive!

However this week, I have really struggled!! I can't get over how much I want to eat food lol! I didn't and haven't but the smell of food and the look of food, this week more than ever, is ridiculously tempting!!

I hope everything is going well for everyone else! Xxxx
68lb loss in 27 weeks Feels amazing!

Have a look at my diary... I followed the CD for 8 weeks. You'll find it in that section and it's pretty informative - with lots of viewpoints etc about what happens after a certain time on this diet!

PS I was ultimately successful and you will be too.
In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.
