Ive been a yo yo dieter all my life. I lost 3 stones at slimming world around 5 years ago but put all the weight back on when i "came off the diet". I put the weight back on and lost it again. Needless to say i put it all back on again and I am now the heaviest ive ever been.
Deflated by the constant weight loss and gain i tried for a gastric band. My application was rejected due to not being heavy enough. You have to have a BMI of 50 where as mine is 47.
My weight causes severe depression and im at an all time low. I dont know which diet to follow. I need something that I can stick to for life (pretty much) as i am so prone to weight gain.
I dont know whether to go on a VLC diet like Cambridge to get the ball rolling and lose the majority of my weight then switch to a more realistic long term plan like slimming world. Although im worried about doing slimming world again because i cant keep the weight off.
Im willing to do something dramatic. I am now at that point
Do you think this action plan is ok?

5. If you give SW a go, disregard their mad advice about 'free' foods. Limit your portion sizes... no one needs to eat unlimited amounts of pasta or Muiller Light yogurts!
. I think they're issuing new books soon but as far as I know it's moving away from red and green - not free foods ... personally I think it's easier to abuse EE than red and green.
