Hi everyone I'm new here, hope you don't mind me posting this again as I have already posted to introduction thread but it is quiet there. After exploring the boards more this one has jumped out at me. I am a struggler and am restarting once again.
I'm 24 and I have around 5 stone to lose. I lost 2 stone on weight watchers last year, which took about 9 months but sadly lost all motivation after my holiday (which was my goal for losing the weight) and have put it all back on!!
I have a new goal to aim for now, me and two friends are going on our dream trip to Florida in August 2015. I would never be happy with myself if I don't get myself looking great for those all important holiday photos, so this is it. I ideally want to lose at least 3 stone by then.
So 39 weeks to go. I need to lose just over 1lb per week average to reach the 3 stone goal. That doesn't sound too difficult to me
I hope to join in and get involved in threads, I also need to face the dreaded scales at some point which I haven't dared do in over a month

Why do we work so hard before the occasion but once it has been and gone, suddenly it doesn't matter any more?
I am getting back into my fitness pal today, I just need to keep reminding myself how important this is to me. Good luck with your weight loss goals as you say, we've all done it before so we can do it again
