4 Stone Seven Pounds in 6 Months

Hey, I'm new to this forum but thought I'd introduce myself with a success story of my recent losses! This is the first draft of my story so far! Will edit it when i'm less tired!

Basically used to play alot of football and stuff, quit playing started eating more put on a ton of weight and actually got up to 18st 10 lbs by the time I was 18! Went on a major surge towards losing it before I started university and managed to get down to 14 st 10 lbs by the time I was 19 and at uni!

Managed to mess that up and put on alot of weight over my first year which pushed me back up and past the 16st mark, after 2011's Christmas I dieted and gymmed again forcing my weight down to around 14st 2 pounds which was good and the lightest I had been in a long time which I found brilliant and planned out how I'd continue to lose more, only this time I'd messed up! Whilst losing the weight I hadn't allowed myself any treats at all sticking to my same rigid formula of 800 calories of lean foods a day for over two months. The second I had a treat again I'd lost my war!

Managed to get comfy and eat alot again, the share size crisps became a regular occasion, four packs or so a week and fortnightly trips to Dominos meant that woh and behold I shot up to 16 St 10 lbs again just in time for the summer of 2012!

My girlfriend and I had planned a holiday to Tenerife and when we got there I was very uncomfortable about my appearance not enjoying going in the pool etc and being very self conscious! Although I enjoyed it, I let it end on a bad night after going to Siam Park with my friends, its a giant water park which you cant realistically wear a tee shirt around meaning I was exposed for the duration! We made some friends whilst there and one jested with me on a particular ride that as I was the heaviest I'd have to sit at the back on all the rides, it really stung and hit me and I became very aware of my weight! The pictures from that holiday devastated me and I knew this time I wouldn't lose, after years of trying different techniques to cut down weight etc I knew I had a formula that would work! Motivation and dedication would be my game plan!

I already knew this time I wouldn't give in, after flying home I had my last pig out in the form of a Calzone pizza, I rejoined my old gym and got to work on some major cardio, restricting myself to around 1200 calories a day and hitting the gym between 2-4 times a week! The wait started falling off me I was managing to lose around a stone a month. This time I allowed myself treats though without counting them, this kept me focused and meant I didn't give in as I view it as a life change rather than a diet I knew I could never realistically give up all the foods I lvoe I just had to outdo the damage in the gym!
By the time I went back to university I was down to around 14 stone again and feeling much better for it but knew the real work started at my new gym and started pushing myself even further, during this period I had alot of nights out and treats too and continued to lose weight, I really feel its key to press the fact that even through this, restricting myself five days a week I still managed treats without hindering myself to much! Without the treats I probably would have managed this in four months however!

I got really into cardio again and started decimating my old time trials, I managed to get my treadmill times down to 8 minutes for 2km and my cross trainer down to 16 minutes for 5km at resistance 14 something no one in the gym could best, I knew I'd cracked it and watched as I entered the 13st's part of the scale for the first time since I can remember! I burned through the full stone in around a month, a combination of motivation and dedication kept me going with the excitement about my new physique and inner strength I was seeing amazing progress! Getting down to 12'13 for the first time was astounding and would be a pattern I repeated as I battled the amount of treats I would eat as I pushed towards becoming skinny!

Around the end of November I started to have problems with losing weight even though my methods stayed the same I couldn't budge under 12 st 10 although i'd built some muscles it wasn't enoguh that my weight loss would halt so rapidly and I started to become physically exhausted very quickly my time trials shot up majorly and I could no longer play football! Becoming very frustrated I spoke to a close friend about the matter! He helped me workout that I hadn't had more than a day off from the gym in around three months! Crazy how much I had been pushing myself and probably not the best for me considering the 1200 calories a day wouldn't have been supporting me versus my crazy cardio routine! I had five days off from the gym at this this point and every day I dropped a pound stabilising at 12'5 just in time for Christmas!

I battled with the idea of not indulging over Christmas and knew it would be a nightmare in January if I missed out so stuffed my face! Ate white bread and as much food as I wanted and sure enough went back to uni and weigh ins at 12'12 i'd put on 7 pounds it was seriously impressive haha! I've managed to burn that off now and stand at 12 stone three pounds and starting to grow very lean muscle tissue! I start my next goal in February and i'm happy with my results so far!

Its been a good journey for me and I've came out alot better and still been able to eat treats and have dramatic weight loss too! I love seeing results and this really worked! I'm starting ab toning soon which means no treats again but theres no reason why you cant do the same as I have!

Here are some pictures!
