In August I was feeling pretty rubbish about myself was sort of fairly active having horses my horse went lame tho so I wasn't riding qualified for the big showjumping event at stafford county showground and couldn't go.. ate too much rubbish a cheesy chip addict mayo addict and red bull addict!! Was avoiding the scales finially made myself stand on the scales was 10st 8!! and well am only 5ft 2! so was overweight.. I cut out all the rubbish food banned myself from cheesy chips weaned myself off red bull!! :p took up hill walking with my other half and fairly recently have joined a gym too ;) am now 8st 13 and am basically carrying on to maintain and tone my belly abit :)
ok will do pictures errr am rubbish no real pictures of me without the ponies!!
me and the lovely Sybil dont know what I was alot heavier than now maybee 10 and a 1/2 stone?
mid september the 14th maybee me at a county show already losing at this point maybee 10st..

last week on my sisters horse 9st

Hey congrats on your loss!! I'm also 5'2 - currently at the scared to weigh myself phase but definitely too big for my frame. So you lost two stone in two month did I get that right??! Is that through calorie counting and exercise? Interested to know how you did it (and eager for the same results!!)
 
Steff so glad you posted your success here. It is encouraging for us shorties! 2 stones in 2 month is brilliant!

yep from August to October and have lost more than a stone since this post as well ;) calorie counting and excersize although these days am no longer strict with myself!! :p 1/2 the time my food diary can be abit rubbish!! I just burn the naughty stuff off in the gym now!! haha
 
That's amazing! How many calories were you having and how much exercise? Sorry for all the questions - just motivating to hear :)
 
between 1100 and 1400 gym 4 times a week now am having nearer 2000 calories a day ;)

That's brilliant - hope you are very proud of yourself :)
 
Thanks your very kind I still fall off the wagon occasionly although I try my hardest to be good!! :p I need to be good to myself now and try not to beat myself up when I think I have eaten badley!! I lost on average 3 pounds a week when I was losing and am now finding am having to eat a fair bit more to not drop.. ATM am at my happy weight 7st 10.. my lowest 7st 7 feel too skinny at this weight sounds daft but those 3 pounds make alot of difference!!
 
I can understand that - when I was maintaining I had my moments where I had too much and moments where my weight dropped too much too.:.. I think I would have kept it off if I had mastered the self talk and not beat myself up and make it the end of the world if I ate badly now and then etc. So yes take it easy on yourself. It's great that you do horse riding and gym classes... I suppose poking your head up on here fairly often will also help keep you where you want to be... I was once 7stone but I looked smaller than that even, I look too thin at anything 8st7 or under. Quite happy with how I look at 9stones interesting how we all carry the pounds differently.. You look really great though :)

Sorry ive only just seen this errr don't eat back all of your excersize calories it's easy to over estimate how many calories you burn off in gym!! :p once your maintaining it will take a while to get the balance right but be good to yourself you need to up your calories abit from when you were losing.. recently got a new phone now logging my food with myfitnesspal and actually find it helps to make sure I am eating enough!! I am a naughty weigher but find it helps to make sure am not dropping now.. think it's ok to weigh everyday as long as you understand you will fluctuate from time time.. also I have to be carefull on a Monday I do double spin so 2 hours I can literally drop 2 pounds over night!! so on a monday I need to eat big as my excersize is so intense on that day ;) stay away from cheesy chips, pizza and red bull if your trying to lose!! :p
 
Hey soz for the late reply quite naughty not updated my diary in ages!! still maintaining still weighing most mornings still using myfitness pal ;) I dont take any supplements just watch what I eat most of the time and allow myself treats now and again and go to the gym :) had to find myself a new gym as my gym closed!! I was gutted!! when I went for my induction thing was quite funny they ask what your goals are.. well I want rock hard abs want to still be able to eat cake biscuits and drink wine and vodka and I dont want to have to work too hard to get them!! :p you should of seen the bloody list he gave me spent an hour working through all these excersizes with me bearing in mind this was after a body pump class by the time he had finished with me I was done!! :p
